Pita Island serves up delicious, fresh Mediterranean food with a unique twist. Their tabbouleh salad is not only flavorful but also packed with nutrients, and I love the addition of green pumpkin seeds for an extra crunch. While I’d definitely order it again, I’d skip the bell peppers (just not a fan!), and I’d suggest adding some fresh mint to the recipe for an even brighter flavor. The chicken is always tender, and the dressing is spot-on—perfectly balanced.
One of the best things about Pita Island is its convenient drive-thru, making it an ideal spot for a quick, restaurant quality healthy meal after work. It’s one of the few places that combines great taste, nutrition, and convenience. Highly recommend!

Good food, clean environment and friendly service. I will definitely go back. We ordered off the lunch menu so these dishes might look a little different for dinner. I had the mixed plate- chicken shwarma and gyro meat. The lunch plates all came with a pita, salad, rice, hummus and tzaziki. Very filling and delicious. My friend ordered fries with her chicken shwarma. They were crisp, and lightly seasoned. Everyone loved their food.

We have followed this place through all its different locations and names. Food is excellent as well as the customer service. The chicken is the best I’ve ever had. Toasted pita bread makes the gyros ten times better. We love getting the gyro & chicken platters to feed our family of six. Also, can’t go wrong with their cilantro jalapeno hummus.

2/24/24: good food, clean restaurant, attentive & friendly servers, decently priced. Their hummus was smooth, creamy, and well flavored; same with the tzatziki. The only thing I was not happy about was the pita that came out with the hummus appetizer – sure it was store bought (flat and thin). Yet when we asked for some to take home (we had hummus leftover), that pita was thicker and fluffier (the way it should be!).
Would we return to Pita Island? Not likely, but only because we live on the west side of the valley. The food was not so excellent to warrant the drive. If we lived closer, yes we would return.

Please work on it, it has potential however as a professional reviewer and food critic please see the following and work on it
I recently dined at a Greek restaurant that had a lot of potential, and overall, it was a solid experience. The place is good for what it is, catering to those looking for a casual meal with a Mediterranean flair.
I ordered the chicken platter, which was visually pleasing and nicely presented. The chicken was flavorful and well-cooked, and the rice complemented it perfectly—definitely a highlight of the meal. The hummus in the platter was also good, adding a nice creamy texture that rounded out the dish. However, I was a bit disappointed with the tzatziki sauce. For a place that advertises it prominently, it didn’t quite meet expectations, earning a 2 out of 5 from me.
When it comes to the rest of the platter, I’d rate it 4 out of 5—very good overall. The French fries were another notable mention; they were served beautifully with a nice sprinkle of spices. However, they were a bit too salty for my taste, so I feel comfortable giving them a rating of 3 to 4 out of 5.
As for the lemonade, it fell flat for me. It didn’t stand out at all and wasn’t particularly enjoyable, so I’d rate it around 2 out of 5, which feels generous considering my experience.
On a positive note, the staff was respectful and attentive, which always enhances a dining experience. Overall, I’d recommend this place for the good food and service, but there are definitely areas that could use improvement.

Sooooo good! This place is very underrated! I’m surprised it’s not packed every time we eat here. They have GF options which is great for my husband! 10/10 recommend!!! They are also always very nice and accommodating!

For being a Celiac they actually have gluten free pita and it is delicious. The chicken kabob platter was awesome and had no issues or reactions. Have now gone twice as we just discovered them but will be going back Our New Favorite Mediterranean Place.

All I have to say is wow! The food isn’t going to be for everyone but I liked it. It came out quick and was sufficiently delicious that I enjoyed it. The staff is amazing! Honestly best experience I’ve had with any staff. This will definitely become a go to place for me.
