PITA COAST is a small student-owned and operated pop-up restaurant in Bar Harbor! We serve grab-and-go style pita wraps, with the option to take out or go enjoy them on our remote little beach right near by! We have free parking and are open to everyone!! All of our meat is certified halal with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options! So come enjoy our unique Middle Eastern flavors that you won’t find anywhere in Maine!

We got some Pita Coast after a long day at Acadia! We got the food to go, but the flavor survived the trip to the hotel. The chicken shawarma was delicious. We also got one of each of the sides, and they were all very satisfying. I would recommend this spot to any Bar Harbor visitors for some variety and spice during your stay!

Did you know that Bar Harbor doesn’t allow food trucks? But when the truck doesn’t move, and is hardwired into utilities, it’s technically not a truck…despite actually being a business inside of a truck. Brilliant! And long overdue.
Amazingly delicious and plentiful food made and served by two super friendly COA-ers with infectious smiles. Thank you for having a gluten free wrap! Eating here we felt like part of a community. Easy parking for all abilities, and nice outdoor seating options.
Can’t wait to make this a regular lunch place!

Really really really good Shawarma and falafel wraps with thin crispy pita. Wonderful aromatic spies, including Syrian garlic sauce, in the Shawarma. Herbaceous falafel with pickles and fresh mint. Everything fresh. Unpretentious little food truck with a homemade door. Just two kids trying to start a business. It’s a food truck that can’t move because of zoning requirements (note the rock landscaping around the wheels). Located in a beautiful quiet natural looking college campus

We ordered 2 combos. One shawarma and one falafel. Both were exceptional. Fresh and authentic taste and large portions. It’s a student run “food truck” that was basically a project and they are going to be open all summer in collage of the Atlantic. Be sure to visit them if you find yourself in bar harbor.

Best vegan falafel in Bar Harbor!! Wonderful, kind, cheerful team finding joy in providing delicious food to the Bar Harbor community. Grab a spot in the shade under the Kentucky Yellowwood tree or at one of the picnic tables and enjoy a fantastic lunch.

Amazing food and even better staff! My chicken schwarma was excellent and satisfying in a way that’s hard to find. Prices are a bang for your buck and the ambience is wonderful. Check out pita coast if you’re looking for the best in town!

The only and the BEST Middle Eastern food in town. I’m so glad they decided to start this food truck. I tried their chicken Shawarma bowl with Za’atar chips. The food was very delicious. My friend had their Mango ice cream and it was very delicious. Can’t wait to get lunch again.

The hibiscus tea was floral, not too sweet—perfect with the spice. Felt lucky to catch them before the holiday shutdown (they might not be back next year)
