Ordered online for delivery. Villager Salad I asked for no onion and was given onion, the salad came with green peppers which were missing from my order. The cucumber was soggy slimy and tasted days old. The chicken was cold as well. They should mention that pita does not come with a salad it’s an add on. They unfortunately didn’t have that written so I was disappointed when I received the order. I have actually never eaten at a Greek place that didn’t give pita with a salad. Much better places in the area

I went in for lunch today and the food was lovely!
Julianna checked me out very quickly and my bowl was made on the spot perfectly! Reasonable prices for the amount of food and meat, the lemon potatoe wedges were very good with my meal 🙂

Soooo good!! Everything is fresh and warm. First time trying and the employee was so helpful and patient. I got a rice bowl with lamb gyro and it was delicious!! I will definitely be back!!

Hate to be the first bad review but I’m guessing the other reviews are friends of owner. Had this delivered and was excited for a good greek option in neighborhood. It was average at best, and the chicken was definitely not souvlaki. Spicy feta was very unappealing, and the hummus was runny. If Cava moves into bellmore/merrick area, this will not exist.

We got takeout today from Pita Bowl. I was pleasantly surprised at the food. We ordered the Olympian Bowl which had lemon potatoes. Tasty and fresh. My daughter liked her gyro. My only complaint are the fries. I wish they were crisp. Glad they are in the neighborhood. Will definitely be back.

Edit: I visited the Merrick, NY location, not the Nutley, NJ location as the owner suggests. I’ve never been to Pita Bowl in NJ.
The blandest bowl I’ve ever had. Could’ve fed it to my dog because there was no seasoning. Not even the onions had flavor. I’ve had better food at a hospital. Disappointing.
