Not able to actually call the restaurant just throws you through loops of ai robot stuff.
Super annoying. We were not able to ask about our allergens.
Got the food and a few ingredients were missing. Including the dressing.
Nothing in the bowl had any flavor or seasoning at all, so it was pretty rough to get down. Each ingredient was completely raw with nothing done to it. I guess it could have been solved if we had dressing but idk most good Greek places have spices in their rice, chickpeas, etc.
Portions were small for the price, got like 4 little tiny pieces of raw green pepper, 7 raw chick peas, etc.
I’m not one to leave bad review but yeah this was pretty bad.
The food was delivered fast though. Maybe it’s because there’s nobody eating there cus it sucks lol
My picture doesn’t show much but you can see how the rice has literally nothing done to it. Doesn’t even have salt. Terrible
Maybe I should not have ordered octopus but it was on the menu it was a greek place and I figured let’s go for it. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. It seemed more like a commercial place.
As far as the octopus It was like chewing on shoe leather but had no taste. They gave me a plastic knife and fork I could not even cut it with that without physically holding the piece of octopus. If they cannot serve octopus cooked up the right way it should not be on the menu.
My wife had gotten a pita bowl and the gyro meat was not even hot. She did eat it thou and said it was okay.
We ordered on the side one piece of pita bread each. They did not even warm it up or toasted on the Open flame grill. They put it through ththisonveyor type of a toaster.
That was a disappointment as well.
I’ll never go back to this place because I just much rather go a few minutes to a different location. Cosmos on Montauk highway. You cannot even compare the quality of the two places because Cosmos is the real deal.
The workers are always friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. It’s honestly such a great spot, I would eat there every day if I could lol, Highly recommend!
I asked for feta cheese and when I asked about the other cheese option the owner or manager (I assume) said all cheeses cost extra. I said ok but I did ask the young man to tell me anything that was extra beforehand so I hope I’m not getting charged for the feta. The young man owned it and said “my fault I’m sorry” but the manager yelled at him to remake the bowl. I laughed and thought he was joking but he was serious! I told him that was ridiculous and to forget it and as I was leaving he said he thought it was ridiculous I didn’t want to pay extra for cheese which always cost extra! Haha
After this experience I will never go back here. The food was always decent but they are expensive and nickel and dime you. Rudeness on top of that is not acceptable.
I ordered a “build your own bowl” with grilled veggies and lemon potatos as a base. You get to pick two meat options, or an extra amount of one meat. I got chicken souvlaki. I added lettuce, tomato, peppers, kalamata olives, hummus and spicy tzaziki.
The veggies were fresh, the potatos were cooked perfectly with delicious lemon flavor, the chicken was juicy and seasoned well.
The service was friendly and helpful. They asked how everything was after we ate.
The restaurant felt lit up, modern and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back to eat there soon.
