Pit Master Bluebird and Sons BBQ

Ordered a plate of rib tips with baked beans. The portion was generous for the price, and the meat was good, with and without sauce. Drowned my meat in sauces and soaked up the leftover with the provided bread. Guy working also gave me a free dessert which was banana pudding, and was really good. Had to have been pretty fresh too because the cookie wafers were super crunchy still. All in all, would recommend for sure.

We were happy we made the call to stop here. We aren’t local to the area but prefer to find local establishments over the standard chain restaurants you can find anywhere.

The amount of food is more than fair for the price you pay…. And man oh man was it good! The dining area is clean and well kept, and I loved the metal pig bowl that holds the sauces.

The music is loud enough to enjoy while you’re eating but not so loud that you can’t hear the person talking to you at your table.

If I’m ever in the area again I will happily be stopping in again!

Pretty sure I just accidentally ate at a drug front disguised as a BBQ joint. No drinks! Ordered lemonade, 5 mins later, got told aint none. But got tap water…. nah I’m good. Meat sucked. RIB TIPS WERE CLEARLY MICROWAVED!!! Dude threw the food on the table, said “he wasnt servin noone” made that statement loud and clear. Unprovoked and abrasive behavior, clearly bring personal problem into work with perfect strangers watching the meltdown. lady up-front, embarrassed of this guy’s actions. We politely, cleaned up after ourselves and left. Never again.

Food was horrible. The pulled pork sandwich had very little meat and was served on a cheap bun. The meat itself had a watered down taste. My wife had the pulled pork nachos and shared the same experience with watered down meat severely lacking in flavor. The mac and cheese as a side was the worst. Tasted like warm wet noodles. Not only did it lack any flavor you couldn’t even taste cheese on the noodles. The potato salad wasn’t bad. Service was the best part. Greeted and served in a short amount of time. I would of rated 1 star but the service helped overcome the lack luster food.

My husband absolutely LOVES their meals!! He has searched for bbq places in Muncie and I remembered this place from when we had a event for my youngest son that passed away and Pit Master was asked if we could leave a flyer for the event and they asked if they could donate something towards it without even knowing my child or family

Got the rib tip dinner ribs and little tough but good the only thing I was mad about was the mac and cheese it was sour I called up there and told them and dude hung up on me not going back cause of that poor customer service

Pulled pork sandwich is amazing , baked beans taste like they came out the can but they’re good Mac n cheese is horrible barely any cheese and no seasoning not even a taste of sum salt it tastes like wet noodles , lemonade is really good homemade and fresh .
