The Brisket is King here and it so juicy and tender it melts in your mouth. The turkey is also to die for and is moist which to me is perfectly cooked. I love when they have their hot sausage special and fried chicken, both are to die for. The elotes, mac, and potato salad are all very tasty sides. The ambiance is relaxed inside Whittier Brewing Company. The staff is always very kind and friendly. 10/10.

It’s located inside of a cafeteria/fruit court style place in Whittier. There’s multiple different options here including a beer garden and some really good ice cream. You should definitely come check this place out. Your taste buds will thank you.

This is my first time going and I was lost I was looking for a standalone restaurant. This is inside a little mini mall atmosphere building I would have never found it if it hadn’t been I was meeting a friend. By the way the food the barbecue is awesome it is unbelievably good The meat was just so tender and that barbecue sauce was absolute heaven on earth. I love the atmosphere. It was so nice and cool inside parking was a bit of a nightmare but it was worth it to have lunch at the pit and bull. Bathrooms provided an indoors very clean great atmosphere there’s a lot of picnic tables set up where you can pick what restaurant food you want pizza or barbecue or there’s a bakery in there that has the most awesome desserts I got a cherry pie and an apple pie They were $9 They were a little mini pies. All I can say is I highly highly did I mention highly recommend this place It is unreal awesome

Unfortunately, I can never try this place because I don’t live locally and I always try to call them to find out even if there’s any parking because when I go on Google Earth, it’s impossible to see the restaurant and not sure where to park also, I want to make sure that they’re open because sometimes businesses say they are and then they are closed for whatever reason I’m trying to call them day after day, but there are no phone numbers. It’s not a very smart business move because I feel like they are probably losing many business like people like myself. I wanna try it.

Had a nice dinner with double brisket! The brisket was done right…no knife required. Bar b q sauces were good- you get two.
We had the beans and esquites as the two sides. Beans were not great and the esquites were fine.
Will definitely try different sides next time.

10 out of 10! Highly recommend! This place has everything you can possibly imagine as far as barbecue and sides. We ordered the sample platter and were able to feed 4 of us with leftovers for two days later and let me tell you that Turkey in a sandwich the next day is phenomenal!
Pit and Bull offers generous portions and has a very friendly staff who are ready & willing to answer any questions you might have.
We don’t have to look any further for barbecue as this is going be our new go to place!

The meat is exceptional. We’ve used it for two birthdays and hanging out a few times in Uptown. The only issue I had is no one picks up the phone, and the girl we dealt with turned out not to be the owner or his family so she didn’t know anything and wasn’t interested in finding the answers either. So, talk to the owner or better yet, his girlfriend. She is super sweet and professional. But everything was ready, on time and everyone loved it.
