The weather was perfect for early June and this was a wonderful stop in driving around lakes area. Lots of different seating areas, a lake, live music and a big menu. We ordered drinks and a lavosh. I liked how crispy the lavosh was. We sat outside on a deck with really nice views. Laid back place no need to be dressed up. Just a great time and good food.

A group of family went for the all you can eat Walleye night. We arrived and got set up at our table. Our visits were with two different groups of our family. I have to agree that the service and wait times were longer than one would expect at sn eating establishment. The food was very good though. Everyone in our groups loved the walleye and the appetizers we ordered. My wife tried the plate of nachos and continues to tell everyone how great they were! My photos will show the caliber of the food they serve and we all agreed everything great! We will definitely be back!

The main reason why this place is getting a low rating is because of how expensive it was for the amount of food.
I purchased the beef tip dinner with a bowl of chicken tortilla soup and a baked potato. The chicken tortilla soup wasn’t bad. I do not like corn in mine but I understand that’s how they make theirs. The baked potato was fine then again how do you mess up a baked potato. Now the beef tips were very plain tasting. I have never seen beef tips like this before as I’m used to more than just mushrooms and onions. It was an extremely small portion for the price they charged believe the picture makes it look a lot bigger then what it was.
I honestly never heard of this place until a friend asked me to go. It is out in the middle of nowhere but that was just fine. The parking lot was a nice size and very full. We went closer to supper time and there were a total of five of us who ate together. When you walked inside you saw the bar immediately. Then you saw a bunch of tables and lots of TVs everywhere. We only had to wait a few minutes for them to clean off a table for us but it was seat yourself.
The server we had was extremely friendly also polite. She brought us our drinks right away and took our order just as quickly. She came and checked on us periodically. Very easy to work with.
Overall I personally don’t see myself going back due to the small portions and the amount they charge. It wasn’t one of those restaurants that made an impression where I can honestly say I will never forget that place and want to go back again.

Bar was nice, we didn’t order food. Gluten free buns available, but the server was honest about celiac’s safety was likely not an option. Which I really appreciate the honesty. Drinks were good.

Over priced and a 2 hour wait for food. I decided to give this place another try and wish I hadn’t. Every time I come here it’s a hour plus wait for food after we order it. Horrible service, food was ok at best, and high prices. Literally waited 2hours for our family to get our order. Avoid at all cost. Poor service and food is mediocre at best. Don’t waste your time or money. EDIT: After this post, management came to our table after my father in-law had paid out $300+ tab and aggressively confronted us demanding to know who had written this review and completely embarrassed our entire family and tried to intimidate me into deleting this review. I have never experienced something so unprofessional in my life. This just furthers my point to avoid this place all together and at all cost. Plenty of GOOD places in lakes country, this IS NOT one of them!

In November of 2024 I went in to see the Vikings playing The Detroit Lions both teams were having a Great season Vikings were still undefeated and The Lions had only 1 loss so being in Minnesota I Figured that game would be the Thing to Watch When I Arrived There was no sound for the Game Because Bingo was Happening. I said you have to be kidding me Your Patrons Would rather Play Bingo than watch Your Vikings Playing in Minnesota vs The Lionsin what turned out to be a Helluva Game. It was then I Figured Out that Detroit lakes Mn isn’t that big of Fans of the Vikings
