This Mexican steakhouse absolutely delivers on its promise of fire, flavor, and family.
We started with the guacamole (fresh, creamy, and perfectly seasoned) and the queso fundido, which came out bubbling hot and impossibly rich. The aguachile verde was bright and refreshing with just the right kick.
The star of the night was the fire-grilled steak, cooked perfectly with a smoky char and served alongside a grilled chile that took it over the top. Every bite was juicy, bold, and confident. Cocktails were equally impressive—the spicy margarita balanced heat, citrus, and sweetness beautifully.
Warm service, great vibes, and food that clearly comes from pride and passion. This is a place you come to celebrate, linger, and order one more round. Highly recommend. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Pistoleros just opened and I’ve been here twice already! The food is fabulous, the service is spectacular, and the atmosphere is awesome. The skirt steak melts in your mouth, the entomatadas are full of flavor and so comforting. The queso fundido and ceviche are the best I’ve had. Chorizo mushrooms are something I’ve never seen before and are such a yummy option for a side. The tortillas, beans, guacamole, and salsa all taste like home. The choco flan is brûléed and a perfect end to an extraordinary meal. The love and passion put into the food and the restaurant, translates into a beautiful experience for the senses.

Best new restaurant! Our party was initially seated on the patio upstairs, but when it began to sprinkle, the staff took care of us by moving us inside. Both spots had a cool ambiance, and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was phenomenal – I wish I could have tried everything on the menu! The entomatadas topped with steak were the best l’ve had. The steak was buttery tender. Even the rice and beans (which are so often an afterthought at restaurants) had the perfect texture and were so flavorful. Everything served at our table was plated beautifully and absolutely delicious. Pistoleros Parrilla knocked it out of the park!

Got lucky to have bar alone. Jenna was nothing short of remarkable. Great guide through the dining experience. A reason AI can’t permeate this industry. She had amazing suggestions that turned a good experience to great. Restaurant is up and coming with great potential. People like Jenna will make or break traffic to a good place. Happy I stopped in and stayed for hours for the personalized and honest staff! Churros were phenomenal.

My wife and I have been 2x since their opening. Amazing food and drinks!! I would compare Pistoleros to a steakhouse in Cancun/Cabo, not your typical Mexican restaurant in Phx (ie. food isn’t covered in sauce and cheese) – just fresh ingredients seasoned to perfection. Must have drinks: Mexican Espressotini and El Jefe Antiguo (mexican old fashioned). Must have apps: Guacamole, Elote Asado (the best we’ve had, not smothered with mayonnaise), Queso Fundido, Chile Relleno (we usually don’t order chile rellanos, but this one was delicious). Must have seafood: Crudo de Atun (tuna crudo). The Aguachile Verde was very good, but you have to be open to slightly raw shrimp. If you like raw shrimp then definitely order. Steaks: we’ve had the ribeye (will always order), arrachera/skirt steak (we liked it, but a typical steak I would order), Sonoran Short Ribs (definitely try this, fall off the bone). Dessert: Churros are delicious. Chocoflan (my first time having chocoflan, there’s a little kick from the strawberry chipotle).
Pistoleros fits our need when looking for a cool vibe with great food, but Ocean /Steak 44 prices (which I consider top notch for food and service). They just opened so they are having growing pains, but be patient, enjoy a cocktail or 2 and the amazing apps.

Everything about this restaurant was amazing! The staff was so friendly and attentive, from our server, Keira, to the water server to the manager, everyone went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere is fantastic and fun, with an upscale but lively, casual vibe. The food was all great! We sampled quite a few of the dishes and I would recommend them all, but especially don’t skip the tuna and the churros!!
