Had the chicken fried steak and was genuinely impressed. The portions are generous, the food is delicious, and everything is clearly made with care.
What really stands out is the staff—incredibly kind and welcoming. You can tell this is a family establishment that takes pride in what they do and how they treat customers.
Already planning my next visit to try more of the menu. If you’re looking for quality food, generous portions, and genuine hospitality, this is the spot.

Well let’s start off with the positive.
Dessert: The bread pudding was ok super sweet for my liking. The carrot cake was fine. No dry and it wasn’t just spice cake! Frosting was too much in the buttercream type for me.
Grilled Reuben was ok nothing spectacular but at least we could eat it.
Philly cheese was pretty disgusting. First it was so salty I had to stop eating it. Second the amount of gristle (hard inedible fat) was disgusting. I had to spit out 3-4 bites because no one could have chewed through it. So between the over salting and gristle this item should just be taken off the menu!
Green chili soup. I understand that hot is personal they said it was mild and it was really spicy. With that said that was the only flavor it had was spicy. Or maybe it was the fact that my tongue was so numb from the over salted Philly
I would not ever come back to this place.

Fantastic breakfast!!! The Creamy Huevos was so fresh and flavorful! The waffle combo satisfied as well. Eggs cooked perfectly on both dishes, Pico and sauce were divine. All the staff were friendly, took my to-go order over the phone, no problems. Extensive bakery case with all manner of delicious choices; chocolate covered croissants, cheese danish, cakes, etc! Yum, yum, yum! Will keep going here as long as they’re here.

I went for breakfast with a friend. I ate there before but was a long time ago. I ordered the Shakshuka which is a popular breakfast dish in the Middle East. It is usually eggs smothered in a tomato sauce and eaten with flatbread. The one from Pistachio was the same with fried potatoes and instead of flatbread, it came with a small quesadilla. In my opinion, it would have been better if it was served with couple pieces of toast. I also think the value was not there considering it was basically two eggs in a tomato sauce. I also did not like the fact that they set the default tip on the credit card machine at 30%.

We’ve been Pistachio fans since they opened. The family and service is top notch, the food is absolutely delicious and comforting. Homemade goodness.
That’s all so good! What’s not so good the price increases! Over $10 for a burrito and plates at $20. No go for breakfast. It’s good, but WOW!! breakfast for 3 $100 with gracious tips. The drinks are pricey, really pricey too. Limited refills. I love Pistachios but breakfast for $100?

I think this is really our favorite place to eat in Longmont. Everyone we have taken here has also loved it and asked to go back the next time they came over. This is a good business to support.

This kitchen produces so many delicious meals each day and does not miss a beat, it is always quality, and quantity for that matter! I believe this is actually one of the best priced restaurants around, your money gets you lots of food here. The menu is HUGE and there is something for breakfast or lunch depending on what you feel like eating. My wife and I can get a hearty breakfast here and go out for a long day outside and not get hungry till the late afternoon. This food makes you feel good.

We like to eat on the porch most of the time but the seating inside is also nice. The employees remember us and are always friendly.

Thanks for all the good times and food Pistachio! See you soon!

Came in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised to find a lot of creative items on the menu that you normally wouldn’t see. I’ll definitely be back to try some of their other creative offerings. I had the Benedict and some Chile verde. My daughter had the chicken nachos. Everything was cooked well and delicious. The chicken on the nachos was very bland, but that’s personal taste. The caramel frappe was fabulous. You could see the caramel sauce, so you know you’ll get that flavor. They have a good selection of vegetarian items on the menunas well. It’s a cute little cafe with seating outside and a nice lively atmosphere. The staff was very sweet and nice with quick and attentive service.

I went here for lunch the other day and ordered (Chilaquiles) with a glass of water. The food was emanating steam, which tells me it was freshly made. The Shakshuka sauce added a nice little kick to the food. I added an extra egg for $2.50. The portion seemed acceptable for one person. The total was $24.46 that was after a $4.89 tip.

Placed a to go order online. Showed up 30 minutes later when the confirmation message said to and it was clear they hadn’t started my order so it was about a 10 minute wait while they prepared my sandwich.

Food was mediocre at best. And the Pistachio side salad (which was a $2 up charge instead of a standard side) came with a green salsa instead of the maple bourbon salad dressing I had ordered.

Overall for the $19 or so dollars after service charge for the online order and tip I’d have a hard time recommending this place to anyone.

Met a friend here because it was a good halfway point. When we arrived, the waitress gave us menus and water, but after looking through the options, we didn’t find anything we wanted to eat, so we went next door for food.

After our meal, we came back to this coffee shop for a drink and maybe dessert.
but the service was shockingly rude. The waitress greeted us with, “Now are you going to drink something?” in a really snarky tone. We said yes, and she snapped, “What do you want?” with the same attitude.

She brought the drinks and carelessly set them down, spilling some and not even cleaning it up. The “hot” chocolate was cold and not enjoyable. Overall, terrible service and disappointing drinks. We definitely won’t be back.
