We recently took a trip up to Crooked River State Park. We had planned one night out and decided to trip Pirate’s Point Bar & Grill. What a wonderful surprise! We booth had the Pirate Burger—a half pound of Angus heaven. The burgers were served up with a generous portion of hot and crispy French fry perfection. Our crever, Cecelia couldn’t have been more pleasant and attentive to our needs. She even provided a water bowl for our dog. I don’t know why I didn’t get a shot of our food. It probably looked so good that I forgot.

RECOMMEND this restaurant very reasonable! Such a cute family business plan to spend 1-2 hours. Only 1 server/bartender CECEILA, she does it all! She has a great attitude, smart and personalable. Rick the owner would come around making sure everything was ok and bring anything extra you needed. We had corn nuggets with powdered sugar, onion rings, nachos and mushroom swiss burger. Oh and a couple alcoholic drinks. The food and drinks were great! We had a wonderful time. We would wait however long to eat there and we are not those kind of people! We brought our dog and they brought him a big clean bowl of water. And they were playing great music that everyone knows and can sing a long to.

First time visit, and the food was delicious! Family owned restaurant, it’s off the beaten path in st. Mary’s, but so worth the drive. We had the southwest burger and my hubby had the captain burger. We also had the crab bites, for appetizers which were so good forgot to get a picture. Great little atmosphere outside sitting as well. Come and try this place out you won’t be disappointed. The owner waited on us, he was very attentive he mentioned to us that his wife and son do all the cooking as well, and they rock at it too. AMAZING FOOD!!!

I had the shrimp tacos with a side of mango salsa, and oh boy! She battered them puppies up with the best shrimp batter I’ve ever tasted (and boy, I am a picky fried shrimp eater)!!! This is a Mom n Pop stop that should be on the map more as the owners are always there, and they are always ready to greet you no matter how busy they are, it may sometimes take up to an hour or more for your order but if you have some time to sit and enjoy some peace and quiet and you want some good burgers or fish tacos with top notch service I highly recommend Pirates Point! Thank you guys for the great service and the popsicle for my mini me’s ❤️

Yes, this place is off the beaten path BUT it is so good!!! I had shrimp and grits. The grits are in a grit cake form and the shrimp is in a delicious sauce. My husband had the burger which was fresh, juicy and good. I will definitely go back. The atmosphere is very pirate feeling and the drinks are good too. It was out first time and will be going back.

Absolutely the best service I have experienced. The people there definitely care whole heartedly about their customers. I think its one of the best places in the area. Great food, indoor and outdoor seating, and a bar. We found this place after a few days on Cumberland Island (would also highly suggest checking it out) so we were hungry for some not camping food. If you’re really hungry like we were get the captain jacks burger, you won’t be hungry long. We might have to come back to the area just for this restaurant.

We were looking for a place to eat at on our last night in town. Saw the reviews and thought we would give it a try. Not sure we wanted to go in once we saw the place, but boy were we pleasantly surprised. Owner greeted us at the door and then once we were seated we immediately met our waitress. This was the best service we have had in a long time. She was very well versed on the food and all the different types of alcohol they had. We totally enjoyed the gyro and shrimp dinner. If ever in town again we would certainly return. Very nice outdoor patio.

OMG so delicious. And the perfect chill but fun atmosphere. The owner really cares. His wife is an excellent chef. I am already looking forward to going back. If you are picky about how your shrimp are cooked, they are perfection here. Like, could not possibly be better. And Cecilia, the server, hustles and checks in plenty.

Amazing food in an unassuming but fun atmosphere. From the owner’s welcome through the attentive waitress to the well prepared fresh fish, we felt welcomed, taken care of, and well fed. The option of having fish grilled, blackened, or fried was appreciated. It’s a family run restaurant with some very skilled chefs from that family running the kitchen. Prices are quite reasonable.
