Drinks came out quick and then she took our food order. For a party of 7 our food came fast and o my god it was so good!
I ordered 2 x 2 x 2 with scrambled eggs, 2 pancakes and 2 bacon.
I also wanted to try the biscuits and gravy so I ordered the entree for the table.
I’m originally from Chicago area and have had my fair share of amazing diner and breakfast food, but these biscuits and gravy were the BEST I EVER HAD!!!
My father-in law is from NJ and ordered the corn beef hash and an omelet and said they both were amazing as well!!!
We highly recommend this restaurant.
I Highly recommend any of the fish or broiled combos. Very busy at breakfast and a bit on the loud side…
But overall a strong recommendation for this place.
After a hike at the north beach we were hungry and stopped in for a bite at a place we had only visited for breakfast in the past.
There place looked about the same, a very serviceable local diner atmosphere with several rooms and normally plenty of seating.
We got there at 1230 and sat right down – not unusual for October. The waitress came right over and took our order for soft drinks.
Simple food was our target, and we both got turkey clubs. They came out in less than about 5 minutes and were very good with plenty of turkey and crispy bacon.
The place was clean which very important. They could use some adjustments in the interior to cut down on the noise and choppy feel of the place.
We plan to go back for a byob late lunch or early dinner to check out the entrees.
My family and I have been coming to Brigantine for 30 years and we always come for breakfast at the Pirates Den. We have had a few dinners as well and it is always great and very consistent. Recently, my wife and I wanted a burger with fries. We both had the bacon avocado burger with fries. I also started with their homemade French Onion soup.
The soup was delicious and was not salty. It reminded me of when I had it in Paris.
As for the burgers, I would stack it up against some of the top steak house burgers. They were delicious and quite big. It tasted like a mix of sirloin and brisket. Overall, they have a great menu and we have tried many items but this is the first for a burger but not the last.
