My friends have been trying to get me this established for a while. We finally made it today after a very enjoyable girls spa day. However, the mood and environment changed very quickly: We were very disappointed in the food and service. The crab dip was more just cream cheese minus the crab, the fish was mushy, cold hush puppies but the fry’s were amazing. Kylie was our hostess for the day. I’m giving her a pass if she’s new. However, if she wasn’t she needs some customer service and food handling training. She dropped a plate glass condiments which liquids and glass spilled everywhere. Accident happened, the problem is never acknowledged the accident, it took very long for them to clean up and we had to recommend them put down a wet floor sign. Even 30 minutes later on of my friends found glass on her shoe. (See attached) They used bleach to clean up the vinegar spillage; which agitated my asthma. We ask for a manger because our waitress never came back to assist us. I never do bad reviews but today was too much. We spent almost $200 in this establishment today which equates to waisted time and money.

Only the second time I have eaten here but I enjoyed both times. Although a little a little slow it’s worth it. The broiled sea food has zeros flavor. Everything else seemed ok

The service was on point! My fish was great! The sides weren’t high in my list but my server did everything to make it a tasty experience. The restaurant has a lot of traffic and it’s evident that it is a local favorite. I will return!

Great seafood restaurant with relaxed atmosphere. Sitting areas include booths, table sitting or at the bar.

If yall haven’t tried Pirate’s Cove Restaurant you definitely need to! Food was bomb! The oyster rock was hands down the best I’ve ever had, the she crab soup actually had chunks of crab meat and the crab cakes…no filler, enough said.

Don’t go starving! The service is slow here, no fault of the servers, they definitely try their best. It’s just way understaffed. But, nevertheless, service was just fine. Really kind and cheery service from Shannon. She was super accommodating. Surprisingly, the food was out quickly once we were able to order! That was great. Good quality was so-so. The crab meat YESSSS. Nothing like coming home to the coast and being able to order food with real lump crab. And they ain’t stingy with it either. Stuffed mushrooms were packed til they were bursting lump blue crab

4/7/23 Food had NO Love!! Short staffed, kitchen behind – we got in early, but it is still a holiday, so understandable. Room temperature GREASY fried fish – broken bits and pieces, Ribeye was a Prime Rib – literally Half FAT, greasy dough ball hushpuppies! Excellent Corn Bread! Fried shrimp was good even at room temp Tired of paying for poor quality & terrible cooking. What a drastic change from just 4 months ago!!

Date night for my husband and I was a success here. It was not busy with a nice steady flow of families and couples in and out on a Thursday night. My husband had the pollock fried fish, fried oysters, and baked potatoe with green beans. I had their 3 cluster crableg special at market price that came with two side of sweet potatoe fries, and cornbread. Both meals came with hushpuppies.

Used to love this place. Went today and had the worst experience ever. Food was cold and flavorless. Crab dip was cream cheese with no crab. Our server Kylie was HORRIBLE to say the least. Like I said, USED to love this place. Last time ever going. They will NEVER get my money again!!!!

Walking in, it was much brighter than we expected –the signage etc had me picturing some dark wood pirate-heavy decor, but it was clean and lightly nautical. So far, so good.
