It was absolutely wonderful, clean, friendly. Absolutely wonderful food, absolutely wonderful service. I will definitely be going back over and over again. I love it. Today was my first day and they got my opinion that they’re one of the best on the coast….

Don’t know what you’re gonna get day by day. One day shrimp will be over flowing, five star the next day 18 shrimp total for a whole poboy two single flat lines of shrimp three stars. The gravy and roast beef could definitely use some seasoning. Always nice staff, welcoming environment. Clean, can get really busy at times. Call in and order if your on a strict lunch time frame. Bread is always fresh and on point!

We searched for a while before we found this place. We were looking for a informal low-key burger joint with mom & pop food. This was pretty close. The place has a friendly atmosphere and the staff are more than nice. The food was pretty good and the price point was average. We will return when in the area again.

We are from Brandon, Ms! I delivered a pool table down here for a customer. This was the first place they suggested for me to get some grub. I will have to say this is one of the best little Po-Boy/Seafood Restaurants I’ve ever been to. We ordered Messy Fries, Shrimp & Catfish Plate with hush puppies and fries w/ potato salad. This place is great. Staff were very friendly and accommodated every request with a smile on their face. They have a wide variety of food for everybody. Food was delicious and for a good price. I would recommend Pirates Cove to anyone. Thank you

A absolutely must have if you come to the coast. Best poboy and roast beef sandwiches you’re ever going to have. Located just 1 block off the beach in Pass Christian.
The service is always on point and ready to take your order and make sure you get what you want. The atmosphere they have created so nice to enjoy food with your family or a party.

This is probably my favorite place for poboys, Barq’s, cirn nuggets, and ridiculously decadent gravy on fries. Try the french fry po boy or the mixed one with shrimp and oysters! Super friendly service. It’s an institution, so buy a t-shirt.

Tried the shrimp po’boy with fries and a Barq’s root beer — absolutely fantastic! The shrimp were crispy and fresh, the bread was perfect, and the fries were hot and golden. Ice-cold Barq’s tied it all together. Staff was super friendly and helpful. This place is a hidden gem!

Really great portion sides, great prices, and good food. The interior is nice and bright and spacious, and looks newly painted and well maintained. The Cajun sausage poboy was great and easily big enough for two people, and the corn nuggets were delish!

Not impressed with the roast beef poboy….
I came here because I had read that this place had the best roast beef Po boys on the coast. I thought I would stop and grab one for lunch. It was very clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly and polite even offered me a water while I waited. But I was very disappointed when I tasted my sandwich. The portion was hearty and it was on decent french bread with lots of gravy but there was no flavor. The roast beef tasted old. It didn’t taste fresh. There was no seasoning in anyway whatsoever. It literally tasted like they had put some day old roast beef piled on French bread with gravy made from a gravy packet. Definitely no flavor whatsoever. I had to go back in and ask for salt and pepper packets and even that did not really help because there was just zero flavor and seasoning. Highly disappointed. A roast beef. Po boy isn’t just about beef, gravy and bread. It’s about taste. A little seasoning be it garlic or whatever and a little love go a long way to create an enjoyable meal. I couldn’t even finish half of the footlong sandwich I had purchased.
On the other hand, the Buffalo chicken with bacon was pretty good. They did not put swiss cheese on it like the menu said but it was still good. Seemed like it was a premium fried Chicken portion with a decent amount of bacon and buffalo sauce

Solid poboy. The poboy needed more seasoning. Not my favorite on the coast but it was good enough. I will go back to try others. The fries and onion rings were delicious. $30 for one poboy, fries, onion rings and drink seemed steep.
