Tucked in the heart of Greenport, Pip’s Cafe & Provisions is where locals and visitors come to catch up, grab a scratch-made baked good, and enjoy the kind of breakfast or lunch that doesn’t feel like an afterthought. Every morning, we bake everything fresh – croissants, cookies, donuts, danishes – you name it, we’re rolling it out. Whenever possible, we use locally sourced ingredients to ensure freshness and support our North Fork community. Our breakfasts, sandwiches, soups, and salads are made with care – real food, no shortcuts. And yes, our coffee is brewed to perfection, just the way it should be. We started Pip’s with a simple goal: to build a cozy, neighborhood spot where everyone feels like – and is treated like – a regular.

An incredible atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer, truly warm and attentive service, and the coffee… absolutely amazing.
The filter coffee is on another level – perfectly balanced and full of flavor, honestly mind-blowing.
And the freshly baked classic croissants are the best I’ve ever had: perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside.
Without any exaggeration, this is the best place in Greenport. Highly recommend ✨☕
My friend and I shared the Cubano sandwich, which was the clear highlight. Perfectly pressed with tender ham, melted cheese, dill pickles, and mustard, it was easily one of the best Cubano sandwiches I’ve had. We also tried the chicken sesame salad, which was equally excellent.
I paired my lunch with an iced matcha latte that was smooth, earthy, and not overly sweet. It’s refreshing to find a cafe in Greenport that treats matcha with the same care and intention as its coffee.
My friend and I also shared a morning bun, which was exceptional. Flaky, buttery, and indulgent without feeling heavy, it was the perfect pastry to round out the meal.
Beyond the food, Pip’s Cafe has a warm, soulful atmosphere, and the staff is genuinely welcoming. A true North Fork gem and a place we’ll return to every time we’re in Greenport.
It’s a cute upscale bakery/eatery. The vibes are immaculate. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.
I got the chai tea latte, lemon poppyseed scone, and the avocado toast with bacon. OMG. Everything is a 10/10. The chai is perfect. Not too sweet but still very spiced forward. The scone was not too dry and all the right amount of sweetness. The avocado toast is to die for. The avocado is perfectly ripped, the jammy egg has me questioning my egg making skills, and the chili crisp adds a nice kick without it being overpowering. The bacon I added add an extra layer of protein which was perfectly cooked. My friends got a ham and cheese croissant which I tasted and wished I got one to go.
Overall, this is an outstanding place for bites that are filling and delicious. I can’t wait to try their lunch goodies!!
Thank you pips team!
But let’s talk about their croissants! I tried the ham and cheese croissant, and it was next-level. Topped with everything bagel seasoning, it was perfectly flaky on the outside and soft on the inside… a total game-changer. Do not miss this one; it’s seriously special.
The staff was warm and friendly, and the cozy decor made it feel so inviting. I noticed they had donuts, but they were sold out when I visited. (Apparently, they make a limited batch each day, so getting there early is key!) It’s one of those places that feels like a hidden treasure—hard to leave and even harder to forget. If you’re in Greenport, this café is a must-visit!
