Best Belgian waffle I’ve ever had! Service was great. Food came out hot and fast. My son had the reindeer sausage. I wasn’t a fan but he devoured it. I was too hung up on it being a magical Christmas animal.

This is a diamond to find when you arrive at the small Coast Inn at the Anchorage airport. It’s a bar/restaurant and the drinks are good and the food is also solid. Nice servers and they were pretty attentive. Beef stroganoff was actually pretty good once you put some spices on top and the happy hour “sliders” were also good. Prices were reasonable!

My husband ordered a steak and I ordered the Santa Fe Chicken Rolls from the appetizer menu. It was during happy hour, so my food was half price. We both loved our food. The cocktails were delicious and the view was excellent as well. The service was out of this world. This may be a new favorite in the Anchorage area.

I stayed at this hotel, the Coast Hotel for a convention and found this amazing diner inside. They have everything you could ever want. It was all so tasty and with a full bar you will leave happy. It is loaded with TVs with all sports playing, the staff was nice and friendly and the views of the lake in the summer would be very pretty to see. This aviation themed diner has existed for ages as they should. Stop in and grab a bite. Enjoy!

Huge amount of salmon on the salmon BLT. Giant portion of fried pickles and very crispy – not at all soggy for being big spears. Waitress was very attentive and friendly too

This is a nice sports bar located close to the airport and hotels in the area. It has a great view of the lake with float planes situated all around it. It has lots of tvs as normal for a sports bar atmosphere. The have a good selection of local drafts on hand. The menu has good variety! I had the steak salad and she had the salmon blt. Both were very good. They have a bar and plenty of tables to sit at. There is plenty of parking. I would definitely go back to this establishment and would recommend it! It’s located in the Inn, but there is an outside entrance to the restaurant bar. Good good and good drink!

Biscuit and gravy were terrible. Food came out cold. Eggs cold. Portion sizes are very large. Waitress was super nice though.

Loved the chips, fresh and crispy, the way I like chips. The burger was meaty and tasted like it was a blend of meats, beef and caribou. Either way, loved it. The drink was peachy and strong. Great flavor. The avocado ranch dipping sauce wasn’t needed because the Mexican style “egg roll” was flavored very well. Spices and the creamy-Ness was spot on. Potato skins went into the ranch as well. Delicious.

I love this place. It’s an aviation themed bar and lounge overlooking Lake Hood, in a hotel. Chairs and tables are comfy, lots of large TVs if you’re into sports, but, it’s not loud.
The drinks are always good, plenty of beer options, and we’ve never had bad food. They do happy hour for apps everyday from 5-7, which is awesome. Pictured is salmon spread with tomatoes, capers, and onions on pita.

Excellent!!! There’s nothing bad to say for any aspect of this place! The service was beyond amazing and friendly! They were all so incredibly attentive, yet not intrusive. Fresh, hot coffee; and it was real brewed coffee, not the concentrate that’s common around here.
The burgers were HUGE! I had chicken and it was a great portion size and very juicy!!!
