This is a great stop on the way to the beach. Everything tasted fresh and so many gluten-free options. They’re also happy to adjust most things on the menu to make them GF. We were a little overwhelmed with the menu (in a good way) when we arrived, but the staff were chill and super helpful about our questions. Bonus: we didn’t have to fight for parking or wait for a seat. If you’re in a hurry, you can also grab a warm spam and egg rice ball on the go.

I don’t live here but always grab a poke bowl when i come to the beach. The fish is fresh and the food is good. My only negative experience is this place does not update its business hours on google. So it looks like they are open and you drive 30 mins only for them to be closed.

After searching far and wide in Wilmington, this place is my absolute favorite when it comes to poke. The lava flow with Tuna is my favorite bowl and the perfect level of spice and unique flavors (and most importantly no skimping on the tuna). It is a bit pricier, but well worth it!

I got the lava flow tuna bowl with cucumbers and carrots added and it has to be the freshest tasting poke I’ve had. As for spice level, it’s definitely tolerable but builds up as you finish the bowl. The prices are more steep than I’m used to with poke but because a majority of the bowl is the protein, versus what other places do where the majority is rice & toppings with a few protein. The tuna literally melts in your mouth and has absolutely no fishiness to it. Will definitely be back to try the other flavors.. The outside and inside seating was very clean and decorated nicely and customer service was very friendly.
