I have been eating at this Taqueria every day for the last 2 weeks, except on Sundays. I live and work in Killeen and have to travel to Salado, and this taqueria is on my route. I really do enjoy the convenience of this restaurant being located inside the 7-Eleven. I can put gas, buy snacks, and have breakfast or lunch, all in one stop.
Normally, I eat the Big Tony’s breakfast burrito which is always delicious, and the price is way reasonable for the quantity of food. Today however I ordered their double meat cheeseburger, which was 7.99 plus tax, and it came with fries. Let me tell you about this burger, it was a double meat cheeseburger, hand-pressed patties, seasoned with salt and pepper, and all the veggies. The burger was delicious, the fries were just as delicious, and the price was even more delicious for my budget, LOL. I recommend this location as a great place to eat breakfast and lunch.

I wasn’t even trying to buy food, but I dropped in for the coffee at the gas station and it smelled so good I went over to look. The man behind the counter was SO friendly and they had a nice selection of breakfast / lunch tacos to choose from, but I told him I’ll eat there in the future and left. I had to turn back around and order some because the smell was soo good and honestly, so was the customer service.
The smell of the food matched the taste and my husband and I are in love. I’d say it’s pretty authentic. Yummy tortillas, fillings, and salsa ❤️ Only thing I’m disappointed in is that we didn’t get more!

Great food and Superior Service. That old saying goes the hole-in-the-wall joints are usually the best. I really like the steak fajita burrito. They have a lot more items for sale then it looks like at face value. Be sure to ask them about them. What you got the pictures of their menu items that I posted with this post.

Got there at closing, so had to take what they had, and we got incredible burritos. They were massive, stuffed full of rice, pork and vegetables. Counter man was very nice!

As soon as you walk in you KNOW those tacos are about to slap. Grabbed a breakfast burrito. Delish!

I’ve gotten food from here 3 different times and I will continue to go back. They are very friendly, I’m not hispanic nor do I speak spanish, but Michelle is very patient with me, always trying to explain in detail each food item I ask about. I’ve had their tamales, burritos, tacos and they’re all very good. They have these little peppers they give out for free, they’re so cute, I usually grab more than 3 and they’ve never had a problem. I will continue to go here until they give me a reason not to☺️

Me my husband and the baby popped in for a quick lunch and oh my God. The food tastes just like home, the prices are super affordable and everything is homemade. I think the guy that served us is the owner such a kind soul. We’ll definitely be going back. My favorite part? The char grilled serrano peppers. Thank you for your wonderful service. Definitely a 10/10

You hear that sometimes the best foods are in a little hole in the wall kind of place…well this is one of them! Brought back memories of my Mexican grandmother’s cooking. Delicious!

Tacos are small and overpriced. Carne guisada barely has any meat and filled with Spanish rice that’s overpowered with bell peppers. Located inside a gas station tacos are wrapped and ready to go.

Pio’s is my go to place for my favorite Mexican food, but don’t want to sit in a crowded restaurant. From the owner to their amazing cook, the customer service is consistently good. Fantastic authentic Mexican food , made with great care.
They way things used to be done -and I highly recommend stopping by and treating yourself to anything on the menu.
