3 large pizzas and the yummy homemade ranch! Every bite was delicious, they were ready before pickup time and the best part was the 2 guys who were working. I ordered pizza through DoorDash and something must have glitched, because the app showed the order was canceled—apparently DoorDash thought they couldn’t pick it up after Pioneer Pizza closed at 8PM. I hadn’t realized they closed at 8 or I would’ve never ordered so close to closing time.
When I called to check, the team at Pioneer Pizza was incredibly kind. They let me know the pizza was ready and that they were just finishing their cleanup if I still wanted to swing by. Their customer service alone deserves five stars, but the pizza? Absolutely the best I’ve had in a long time.

I walked into this locally owned gem thinking I was just getting dinner… and instead experienced something bordering on a religious event. I ordered a salad (to trick my arteries into feeling safe), a meat lovers (to immediately betray them), and the majestic Stoplight—pepperoni, pineapple, jalapeños, and hot honey, aka “the pizza that could end wars.”
The staff? ICONIC. Friendly, laughing, chatting—honestly it felt like I’d stumbled into a family reunion where everyone actually likes each other. I’m convinced they have the best workplace morale in a 100-mile radius. If they sold tickets just to sit there and listen to them banter, I’d buy season passes.
The vibe? 10/10.
The food? 12/10.
My self-control around hot honey? 0/10.

I placed a large order to be ready a specific time for pick up. When I got there to retrieve my order it was just freshly finished and piping hot! Our whole family really enjoyed all the different pizzas we ordered along with the mac & cheese and cheesy bread! 5 star experience for sure

Im so grateful that this new family took over my life-long favorite pizza place – it’s so good every single time I go; I’ve never had to complain about anything – specifically about the young staff working. They are so polite every time I come in and bring out my order with a smile.

The fact that the owners employee teens, and train them well, speaks volumes as to the kind of people they are. They have patience, see the value in the future generations, and treat the employees with dignity and respect. We have discovered our new favorite pizzas as well. Their crust is just so good! If you haven’t tried their pizzas, I hope today is the day you’d support some local business owners who are trying to make a difference, one pepperoni at a time.

Consistently wonderful pizza! The crust is always perfect, toppings are fresh, and it’s a great value for the quality you get. The staff are friendly, helpful, and always in a great mood, which makes every visit such a pleasant experience. They always have upbeat, positive, feel-good music playing, adding to the great atmosphere. These guys really go above and beyond—always happy and helpful!
