Pioneer Pizza has some of the best pizza in Plain City. The crust is light and crispy, the sauce is flavorful, and the toppings are ample. The same goes for the Stromboli. The salads are fresh and crisp, although I do wish they’d make their own House Italian Dressing. They could really be creative with their own recipe. Also, they could have a larger selection or “Real Beers,” and not just the candy flavored ones that the kids like.

Disappointing to say the least with other options in town. Messed up two pizzas… one looked like an incomplete puzzle on arrival. Also a professional kitchen manager looked at these tenders and okay’d them to go out to the customer. (Photo attached) Called them to make it right and they said they’d get an order out to us ASAP to make it right. Called back and was told “it will be right there” nearly 90 mins later. Go to Jan and Tony’s. Nuff said.

It’s an interesting setup. There is a counter for walk-in ordering. Through swinging doors there is basic seating with the fountain drink machine. There was almost no ice in the bin and the unsweetened ice tea was old enough to taste bad. We went through another swinging door to a bar area (pretty nice) with better seating, TV”s, etc. There were no paper towels in the rest room and it could have been cleaner. Summary: Someone spent the money for a nice setup but didn’t find a manager to keep it nice. Food was good but the rest was so-so.

Excellent pizza! Our first time trying them out, but we will be back. I had the Hawaiian (minus the green peppers) and my wife has the All The Way. Both pizzas were loaded with toppings. The original crust was just right. They finished it off with friendly service. It took a little longer than other pizza places from order to pickup, but it was worth it.

Literally the BEST cauliflower crust pizza I’ve ever had. I got the chicken bacon ranch and it was 10/10. They use a ton of toppings! The staff was friendly and helpful.

Outstanding pizza! Honestly one of the best I’ve had. Our celiac daughter had the gluten free pizza and they were super accommodating. Took all kinds of precautions and it was by far the best gf pizza we’ve had in 5 years of being gf. My son chose her gf pizza over the gluten pizza.

Fantastic pizza. One of THE best in Union County, if not the best. The crust is perfectly crisped, great sweet sauce, the cheese is top grade, and the other toppings were more than on point. I expected average. They delivered exceptionally. Pay no attention to the service ratings that drag this place’s score down. Mishaps happen. Pay more attention to the fact that their score may say nothing about the quality of food. This place is legit.

Very underwhelming experience. One of the pizzas had a bubble so big it rendered half the pizza inedible; how does this make it past any kind of quality check at 4:30 on a Wednesday? Not exactly a dinner rush time. As far as the Italian subs? Meh. The dressing had no flavor and was just oil and vinegar.
