The food was great! The wait staff was great, they know what they are doing! We didn’t have to ask our waitress for anything! Its kinda like she knew what we needed and brought it to us, with a big smile! They have the best waitress staff My wife and I could not have had a better late lunch anywhere! We will definitely be back!

We have been here 4 or 5 times, and everytime the food has been great. Servers and atmosphere are great. Would recommend this to family and friends. I do wish they had a little more of variety for dessert. That’s the only part of the buffet that is lacking. Buffet and salad bar are great.

They have a large buffet, which is what I ordered. They do have other food on the menu that you can order a lot of steak choices. The food was delicious. It was hot. It was filling. I enjoyed it very much and will definitely plan to go back again.

There’s a good reason why Pioneer is always packed. They are the best buffet around for comfort food/southern cooking. Everything on their buffet is good and you can’t really go wrong. They are a tad expensive so we don’t go often but it’s worth it every once in a a while.

He used to come here a lot with my dad.Back in the early nineties, early two thousands. Great food. It’s gone downhill a little bit, but that’s expected. It’s happening everywhere . Overall, four and a half. Always been clean. Decent selection . Price is still good well go back once in a while.

I went to the drive thru window this evening . No cars in line. The lady quickly took my order (1 plate) and my money. I then waited 25 minutes on my food. 1 plate. No drink. She remained at the window taking orders over the phone. This was very aggravating to say the least! Then I get home and all 4 of my little containers of food was overfilled and leaking out the tops. What a mess! I will never hit that drive thru again!

I really do love this place. I love when they have lots of veggies and beans on the buffet. I would have given 5 stars but every time I order through doordash something is off with my order. I’ll keep going back though because they have only recently started doing doordash, maybe it’s growing pains.

After several years we decided to give Pioneer a shot at being a great place to eat country cooking. Unfortunately they did not live up to that opportunity!! The fried chicken was alright, but everything else didn’t have any taste or was too salty. I was excited about the variety of vegetables, but all of them were bland and didn’t have any taste. The salad bar was good, I guess it’s hard to mess that up. We told the hostess at the checkout about the food not having any flavor, but she defended it. We probably want eat there again

My friend and I normally visit every Sunday. We get the buffet. They have unlimited food options to choose from. The salad bar health choices makes it the best in the area. My favorite hot food choices are the collars and sweet Potato Casserole. We are regulars and the employees have gotten know us and treats us like family. The food, service and cleanliness are outstanding. By the way we drive from Greensboro to dine at Pioneer.
