Good food, great service. They had a young man as the cook a couple months back and we always had our steak orders cooked perfectly. He seems to have found other employment and the current cook struggles with an order that has both a medium rare steak and another steak that is ordered very well done. They both come out medium to med well.

This place is a small town restaurant in Velva. Their steaks are quite good. Unfortunately once you get past the steaks the rest of the food is mediocre. The coleslaw cabbage was browning at the tips. The garlic mashed potatoes were good, but tasted re-heated. Typically this wouldn’t be an issue but when coupled with their high price it’s a lose/lose. Additionally there menu advertises prime rib on Friday and Saturday night yet when we went in on a Friday night we were told that the owners opted to run another special in lieu of the prime rib.

Had a large group. Fifteen or so. Last ones were still waiting for food while others had finished. Steak was very thin and hash browns were pre-formed patties that had been deep fried. Steak plate was not heated. Steak was done right despite being thin. Rest of the food was ok.

Took over one and a half hours to get a simple cheese burger. When it did arrive, there were two very odd shapes burgers on dried out bin. The burgers themselves were very dried out and over peppered. Did not have a very good experience.

Worst experience. You can get better food at a gas station. Way overpriced! I will never go back!!! Nothing was fresh. Have people lost their standards of homemade, fresh and quality food?!!!
