Everything was delicious. The cuttlefish ink paella alone is worth coming back for. My partner even called it insane!

The food was incredible, definitely one of the best spots in Woburn! Every single tapa was packed with flavor, even better than most small plates we have had in Boston. The paella was outstanding, and they had great vegetarian options too. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Can’t wait to go back!

I love Pintxo Pincho! It’s my favorite restaurant. I love the arroz negro, pulpo a la gallega, gambas al pil pil, the croquetas, their selection of manchego cheese, jamón, and chorizo, the peras borrachas, I really could go on and on! Great wine selection, great atmosphere and authentic Spanish food. It’s really such a treat to go there–thank you to all of the staff there for making it such a great place to dine and celebrate!!

I explored this restaurant on my quest to find the best Spanish food place in the Boston greater area. As a Spaniard living here for almost a decade, I figured it was about time 🙂 so now I’m doing the tour with friends.

Food quality: 6/10
Generally all the food was ok. Some dishes (e.g. calamares, empanada, entrañas) were very tasty, while others (e.g. patatas bravas, pimientos del padrón) were not well made or low quality.

Authenticity: 7/10
Most of the dishes tried to imitate Spanish recipes, which is hard to find! Most restaurants are American-Spanish fusion, this one was not. However, there were a few important points they missed. For example, pulpo a la gallega didn’t have potatoes (WHAT?), and the bravas had a very weirdly cooked potatoes. Also, the sauce was not Spanish.

Money value: 2/10
Here it is where Pintxos Pinchos fails miserably. My dinner was very expensive ($50 including tip and a glass of sangria). Plates are so small that they recommend 3-4 per person (which is about right), hence the high total cost. The quality of the food didn’t match the price.

Average score: 5/10
Generally, I thought it was a “meh” place. Somewhere to maybe go once or to show a friend, but not a place to highly recommend. Atmosphere was full of Spanish culture (flamenco music, bull painting) but that’s kind of a tourist trap because our restaurants aren’t like that LOL
Service was nice and attentive, but I didn’t like the fact that, after ordering one tapa of entrañas, we were brought two. We didn’t realize at the time, we just thought it was a generously-sized tapa, but only when the bill came afterwards we knew that had been in fact, two tapas ($26 instead of $13).
Access is good, huge parking lot on the back.

This was easily the best food I have had in years. Great atmosphere, staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable. The food was labeled in Spanish, so I don’t remember actual names. The balls: onetray was ham and cheese. Texture was like melted cheese, flavor good. Sauce has a big kick, actually over powered the flavor a bit. The other tray was vegetarian. Flavor was very subtle, sauce made it pop, same sauce for each. Mushrooms were really good, great flavor, paired really well with steak. Spicy chicken was my favorite. Great flavor, really well done. Small pieces of skin really crispy. Shrimp were spicy and full of flavor, cooked just right. Churros were done well. Sauce is like a dark chocolate with cinnamon, no a dark chocolate fan. Potatoes has a very good sauce, tasty. Could have been done just a hair more. Steak was really well done and chimichuri sauce was really good. You could cut it with a fork. Definitely going back here. Reservations highly recommended, limited seating. Check out the cool lamps. Prices are a little high, but worth the price.

We came on a Saturday night, it was poppin. It’s been said by other reviewers, but it was too loud. How can you call the restaurant romantic when you have to yell..

That said, the service was top notch. They put your coat away for you, they were attentive even with a full restaurant. I’d probably come back based on the service.

Now for the food, I found it was hit or miss. Croquettes, ham, and scallops were on point. But the patatas were sadly unseasoned. Come on, this is a staple! And I wish I could’ve tried the manchego and ham without it being doused in sweet stuff. I think these elements are usually served separate.

With the price of everything, I’m skittish to come back and take a gamble on the other dishes. I’d probably try other tapas restaurants in the area first before coming back.

Excellent Spanish restaurant. And I mean Spanish from Spain. Very good service and an sufficient range of menu choices. Fast and reasonably priced. Many of it’s produce is from Spain, which is a plus. Very good service and overall, a great restaurant experience for us Spaniards missing home. We will come back.

I was really impressed with this place. A true tapas bar. Perfect size plates. The food was really good. Very reasonably priced. We had several plates and a couple of repeats. Their chorizo was so delicious. Would recommend and definitely plan on visiting again.

Family birthday celebration…. what a cute little place. A very cool setup with great space for a little party fun dinner. The food came out very quick and was so delicious. The bay scallops and free range chicken among our favorite.
The perfect highlight at the end: white chocolate bread pudding. One of the best I had in a long time.

Also, the wine selection: not overwhelming but amazing!

Service overall 5*+
