Great food and great service! We’ve tried quite a lot of the options on the menu and have not been disappointed. The Tom Yum and basically of the curries are our go-to’s (they had a special Yellow Curry with Fruits which contained lychee and apples and it was sooooo good! Their thai tea and thai coffee are also a must…all in all- every time we’ve gone to eat at Pinto Thai, it hits the spot always!)

One of the better dining experiences I’ve had in quite some time! Everything was delicious, staff was attentive and quick, food came out in a reasonable time and everything was piping hot and fresh

I wanted to note that the negative reviews involving staff pushing them out honestly makes sense from a business point of view, it’s ridiculous to order take out and assume you can take a seat from those intending to eat there. It’s a small place, it’s to be expected! We had no problems feeling rushed, and even if we were, I’d absolutely understand if they had people waiting for tables. Don’t let those ridiculous reviews put you off from giving this place a try, it’s totally worth trying!

Ordered Veg Soup, Spicy noodles and Pa-nang curry and oh boy, all of them were so so delicious. We had a spice level of 5 which was not too bad but spice lovers can definitely go higher. The ambience was really nice and the server was very warm and friendly.

Soooooo delicious! I ordered the veggie samosas, fried tofu, and basil thai rice(spicy). The flavor of everything was perfect and the spice was just right. The sauces that they came with were also fantastic! The service was wonderful and the food came out fast!

Found ourselves in the area and figured we’d try out one of the Thai restaurants. The place is small and I can see how it could get overcrowded very quickly. Luckily it was not busy when we got there so the wait to be seated and to be served was not long at all.

The server was very friendly and not opposed to questions about the food. As for the food, it was pretty good. Definitely not great enough to knock out one of our favorites, but not bad enough to where we wouldn’t come back in. The flavors were decent. The Tom Kha had Enoki mushrooms in it which was a surprise but they absorbed the flavor and fit in well with the soup overall. The rangoons were definitely good as was the papaya salad.

Overall, it’s a decent little place for some decent food. As I said, not enough to really be a favorite, but when we find ourselves in the Tierrasanta area again, we will likely stop by.

It is literally a hole in the wall, family owned and operated, neighborhood Thai joint.
By hole in the wall I’m referring to the size of the place only. It is very clean and the flavors what you would expect. You can see the kitchen and the people cooking your food. Everyone was wearing a mask and the cashier was super friendly and welcoming.
In store dining was not allowed at the time I went in lieu of covid 19 guidelines but even when it is open it is very limited capacity for seating. Super cute. Super tasty. I recommend this place if you’re in the area.

Ordered delivery. Food was fantastic! The portions were huge which made the prices seem more than fair. Highly recommend!

Not being a huge Thai food fan, I’ll admit this place is really good. I’ve never been to Thailand, can’t tell you how authentic it is, but the curries are a great go-to. Their Tom Kha soup is really good, has a unique taste unlike other versions from other restaurants. Definitely a great takeout place, dining room is pretty small.
