The bbq bacon cheeseburger was absolutely fantastic, probably the best I have had. My wife got a wrap and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were a bit confused when we came in, so to avoid that, go to bar straight ahead and they will give you a menu. Figure what you want, go back to bar and order. They’ll give you a number. If you don’t drink, I am in recovery, just tell them what you want and they’ll give you glasses and you’ll have a place to your right that is self serve. I actually loved that, as if they were thinking of us who don’t drink for varies reasons. We went outside, lovely breeze, and our food was quick getting out. The food and service was great. We live in Tyler but I can see us coming out here for a day to shop and eat here. Top notch and thank you for a wonderful experience. Fyi, one of your locals recommended us so your doing things right!

We were in the area doing a bit of hunting and wanted to find a place to watch the Aggie game. Randomly looked this place up and found a gem. Atmosphere is great…laid back and cool setup outside with picnic tables and firepit. Lots of different beers on tap that I had never heard of that you can sample before you buy. Food was great….had the philly cheese steak and my brother in law had the Reuben. Come hungry because the portions are big. Very warm and welcoming environment where it felt like everybody was a local.

I sat at the bar. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I tried on of the tap beers, I think it was the black butte porter. It was a dark smooth beer and I enjoyed it.
I asked for recommendations and she told me the chicken tenders were good.
I ordered those and I’ll admit the when I got them I was a little worried cause it was only two tenders. But they were perfect! Lightly battered, juicy on the inside and a perfect size. It also came with fries and cole slaw. It was the perfect amount of food. Personally I’d liked one more strip and maybe less fries but I was good.
They had a really nice outdoor area to eat and drink your beers.

Great atmosphere on Thursday night; folks watching sports, locals chatting it up at bar, group playing card games. Chris’ curly fries or sidewinder fries were unique and fabulous. Can’t wait to revisit again when in town.

The atmosphere was pleasant with a cozy, rustic vibe. If you choose outdoor seating, be prepared to deal with quite a few flies. As for the food, it was average. The mozzarella burger was overly greasy, and the Cuban sandwich was just okay.

Great food & great selection of beer. Mia waited on me and was very helpful & friendly! Sh made my visit very enjoyable. I had the mushroom Swiss burger with a triple jam cider. Burger was delicious & beer was very flavorful. I would highly recommend this place.
They have indoor- outdoor- bar- seating. They also have a quiet room if that’s more suitable for you.

What a gem! We stopped for lunch on our way through town. Instantly dug the laid back back yard vibe with a huge fire pit and picnic tables scattered across a lawn shaded by a sprawling oak. Lots of patio seating on the decks as well. Great selection of taps serving up cold fresh beer. The fried okra was so fresh and yummy, the Cesar salad nice and crispy and the pulled pork sandwich with pickles is not to be missed. Plus the staff here were all so friendly and nice, just a great place all around with great folks. Wish we still had places like this in Austin.

We were surprised by the great beer selection, both tap and bottles, and the food was great – but the real star is Mia, such a nice person and a great bartender! If you are passing through, stop in!

Pint and Barrel never disappoints! The food is always so good, the drinks are great, and the service is spectacular. The atmosphere is relaxing indoors and out.. great place to meet up with friends wether on a regular basis or if you haven’t seen them in years. There’s a variety of places to sit from tables and couches indoors to tables and benches by an open fire outdoors. Room for kids to run around, if you choose to bring them.. and there are a variety of indoor and outdoor games to play if you’re so inclined. 10/10 highly recommend.
