Enzo originally from Palermo Sicily and came to the United States in the early 1980’s. He lived first in New York and in New Jersey where he learned the craft of hand tossed New York style pizza. He came to Minnesota bringing his experience and special authentic recipes with him and in 2002 Pino’s Pizza Woodbury was born. Pino’s Pizza has been voted best pizza in Woodbury multiple times! He believes in using only the freshest ingredients, the mozzarella cheese is grated fresh everyday and the dough and signature red sauce is made fresh daily on the premises. His Italian Sausage is fresh using an authentic family recipe, not frozen. Each pizza is made fresh by hand to order. We hope you love your pizza! Sincerely, Enzo

This place was recommended to us and we were excited to find a good pizza place. We ordered a build your own pizza and cheese bread. Everything came in to go containers and boxes even though we were dining in. Little to no ambiance in the store. Very poor counter service. Pizza was decent but sauce a bit runny and could use more seasoning. They never cut cheese bread into pieces and they served the sauce loose in a to go container. Sad but think this will be a one and done.

If I could give a half star to make it 4.5 I would. Great NY Pizza! The Gravy/ Sauce needs some work. The crust…It’s almost perfect! Light crisp! Toppings…Cheese was great but for veggies/fruit they use canned not fresh. If that could change it would Help. The Pizza next Day Cold….is almost as good when it’s Hot! Will come back again! Oh…Did I say the Slices are nice and Huge! Especially with the 16-inch !

This place has a lot of hate based on the ‘atmosphere’, but the truth is we need to focus on the pizza! It’s fantastic! First bite reminded me of some of my past favorite pizza joints from across the country. I grew up in a military family and have been all over the place, I really really liked the flavor of this pie! The sauce was perfectly savory, rich, and well-balanced.

I came in on a Monday night for a couple of slices, no one was here around 6:30, there were a couple of guys behind the counter. Very straight forward, came in, paid around $10.75 for two slices and a soda. One guy heated it up and placed them into a styrofoam box. Took them home and gobbled them up, 10/10 recommend the pepperoni pizza by the slice at Pino’s! Pleased to have found this local gem in my very own neighborhood of Woodbury!

This pizza is simple and delicious. Some would say the shop itself is lacking in atmosphere, to which I would say have you ever even been to a pizza place in Brooklyn?! Besides, what more do you need guy? It’s got chairs, tables, big shakers of red pepper flake and Parmesan cheese, and amazing tasting pies. If you need a white table cloth candle lit dinner experience you’re missing the point entirely! Pro tip – get it partially baked and finish it off at home for ultimate freshness.

Our pizzas were both black and burned. Not nicely browned. Black. I called and spoke to a teenager who had no idea how to respond. He stated that he did not know how to process a refund and that he did not “remember burning a pizza.”
Hilarious, if I hadn’t just spent $80. When I asked to speak to an adult, he stated that the manager “is like 70” and that noone there has this senior citizens number. He claimed that the aged manager would call me when he returned. So far, no call. And now, no dinner as it isn’t edible. Alas.

This pizza was wonderful. I stuck with a simple cheese pizza, and really enjoyed it. My toddler went crazy for the crust. The crust was crispy and flavorful. The sauce was very good, zesty, and tasted homemade. The staff was very kind as well. Will definitely be back!

A small shop with one nice man working effortlessly to give the best pizza. It was really delicious and the crust was perfection. I’m definitely coming back. Had a simple cheese pizza and you can tell everything was pretty much homemade. Support your small local businesses!

The toppings were good but we hated the crust. It was very difficult to chew – it gave our mouths a workout. We also thought it was odd that we were served marinara in a to-go box wrapped in plastic wrap. They should have leak-proof containers instead.

Ordering Online for Pickup is very easy. We ordered 3 pizzas plus cheesy bread.
Ham and Pineapple, Hamburger and a Veggie.
Easy to review and schedule a pickup. Everything ready when we got there and it was very tasty when we got home. This is the 2nd time we have done an online order and would recommend Pinos pizza.

Pizza was ok, your classic football/New York-ish style pizza, doughy, crust.

Definitely get a good amount for what you pay for.

The inside, there are a few places to sit, kind of weird setup though.

Very Greasy…

I’ll give it a 6.9/10
