I have been going to Pino’s for many years and they are one of 3 or 4 places that we usually go to on Friday nights. Their food has always been very good so no complaints there. Service over the last year has been getting slower and slower. This past Friday we came in and like always greeted by the owner. We were given a seat so no complaints at this time. We had to ask to have our wine opened still no major complaints. We eventually gave our order and 50 minutes later still no meal. The restaurant was by now mostly cleared out and I had to flag down our waitress. She apologized for our late meal and said they were working on it and the food would be right out. Well 10 minutes later no food so I flagged down the waitress and asked for our bill and 5 minutes later no bill. We had finished a bottle of wine and decided just to leave. I left $10 for an uncorking fee. We were going to use Pino’s for a group dinner that we do 3 times a year. So much for using them. I do hope that they work on improving their service. However, they lost a customer.

The service was excellent. Quick to take our orders get us our drinks and food came out promptly. We got the Bianca Pizza and the Turkey Europa sandwich. Pizza was good but the spinach was a bit on the oily/buttery side, and the pizza was thin the way I like it but in my opinion it could have been cooked a bit longer. I like the crunch factor. The sandwich however was really good! The apple slices in it were refreshing, the bread was a good choice too. Held everything together without anything falling out! Overall I am happy to have finally tried this place. I will definitely be back.

We went to Pinos and the service was amazing!! The owner is the nicest person on earth and the food is always excellent. I love coming here for lunch or dinner with my mom. We got the Chicken Francese, Pasta Fagioli, and the Mozzarella en Carozza. Everything was perfect! Would highly recommend!

Pepperoni pie was excellent, crispy, and it reheats well at the campfire (approx. 10 mins at “decently hot”). Their table side bread was fresh & delicious as well, and served as the perfect pairing for a local farm’s blackberry jam!

The best pizza in Clinton, and one of the best in Hunterdon County, which has a surprisingly good lineup of pizzerias. They only serve whole pies and they do it right. Nice well done char but still quite tender as well. It’s made in a gas oven, but it has somewhat of a wood or coal fired brick oven feel to it, which is not easy to do. Highly recommend this place.
