We got the ribs and steak combo in order to try different things and share.
The ribs were VERY good, but the steak was a bit chewy, ordered medium.
It was $48. I don’t go to steakhouses much at all, but that seems like a ton for what was served.
It came with salad, beans, and bread. The brown (rye?) bread was so sweetly delicious! And great dipped in the beans, too.

We had mentioned to the waitress that it was our first time, and then we ordered. Later, while we were waiting for our food, she brought us a small plate of ribs and told us she had been informed it was our first time (I guess by the host, who we had also mentioned it to too), and that all first-timers get free ribs. That was fun to hear, and of course we appreciated it, but if we had known that we would not have ordered ribs as our main!

The other unexpected thing was finding out from our receipt that sharing a meal cost $4.50 extra! What?! Yes, she did split the beans into two bowls and the salads onto two plates and asked us each what dressing we wanted, but I assumed that was complimentary and kind… Not something that was going to cost extra. We would have happily eaten from the same plate!

It was a Blessed Sunday Brunch. A steakhouse that serves flavorful and tender steaks. They highlight the unique, small-town vibe and the fun tradition of wearing a tie. Speaking of a tie, yes we did wear a tie and to make it super fun, we’re all wearing the same “clown” tie for this tradition
And of course, steaks tasted so good and it wasn’t just a quirky atmosphere but it came with an attentive service! Me and friends came on time they just opened at 11.30 am and of course it was no wait time like we were the first customers.
Highly Recommended if you want to eat a good steak and have fun with friends/family. Tips; don’t forget to wear a tie so they can cut it and hang at their wall with your name on it #iykyk

Food was amazing and the service was top notch — shoutout to Levi.
I ordered the half BBQ chicken and ribs. The chicken was delicious, very juicy, and honestly didn’t even need BBQ sauce (8/10). The ribs were pretty good as well (7/10).
The mashed potatoes and mac & cheese were amazing and definitely worth ordering.
I’d definitely come back to try their steak options.

This restaurant is located just past Lone Hill and Amelia on the north side of Foothill. You have arrived when you see the covered wagon. Its a local staple. There is ample parking and the prices are competitive. The side serving sizes are of a healthy proportion. The atmosphere is comfortable casual. There is indoor and (refreshingly) outdoor seating. It’s clean and well maintained. The steak was blackened to the point of almost appearing burnt. Yet, it wasn’t tough. There was enough to take home and it warmed up tender and flavorable. The drinks were good and the service was welcoming.

I’ve been here twice so far and it’s by and far my favorite steakhouse in the area .

The food is served promptly and cooked as you request it.

The cornbread is a 10/10

We got a cowgirl steak and a Kansas City.

Haven’t been to Pinnacle Peaks for several years as the location closest to me closed. I was in the L.A. area and thought I would stop by. Was definitely not disappointed. The food was exactly like I remember, great steak cooked perfectly and the beans, bread and salad couldn’t have been better. They let us in at closing time on Saturday night (almost didn’t make it)

Whiskey Runner is the best, whitty, friendly and superb with people! Our drinks and food arrived fast and she checked in on our table several times during our short dinner visit. We will be back with reinforcements and stay for dessert! Listen to her suggestions, she’s a PRO!

Update 3/2025

Once again the food here is the best you’ll find! They cook the steaks exactly as requested and our server was amazing!!!! This truly is one of the best restaurants in our area and just doesn’t get enough attention!

They still sing happy birthday to folks, they still slice off the city slickers ties.

I love it. I can’t say enough good about this place!

The food was amazing!!! Or family had the best time and our server, mustang, was fabulous! This is our go to place for special dinners!!

Growing up in San Diego this place was a family staple. So many memories there as a kid. Sadly that location closed. I moved to Riverside to go to college and lucky for me there was one down the street, but eventually that one closed too. Still living in San Diego we made the 2 hour drive to have dinner here tonight with my brother who lives about half an hour away from this location. I will start by saying Sunflower, our server was amazing! She was quick, efficient, to the point and very personable. Our whole table appreciated her excellent service. Our food was delish! Just as I remembered. Of course back in the day they didn’t offer three cheese cauliflower, but don’t skip it. It was so good! Everything cooked to perfection and such a fun atmosphere. I wish it was closer but definitely worth the long drive.

Love this restaurant. Love their atmosphere and ambiance. Love their decor. Food is excellent. Homemade salad dressings. Center cut top sirloin was a hit. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. Beans and corn are awesome.

Our server Walker was great. Nice guy. He was friendly and prompt. He made our dining experience a pleasurable one.

I recommend this restaurant. We will be back for more delicious food and great service
