Reviews
Parma E Burrata Plate came with Prosciutto di parma, burrata, arugula, candied pear, cherry tomato, and aged balsamic. The aged balsamic tasted amazing, sweet and tangy, but not overpowering. It paired well with all the ingredients.
The Magic Mushroom Pizza was made with an olive oil base, mozzarella, tomato sauce, crimini mushrooms, black pepper, truffle oil, and prosciutto. It was really delicious. Even with the truffle oil and prosciutto, the flavor was not overwhelming and stayed nicely balanced.
The Patataccia Pizza came with Olive oil base, mozzarella, potatoes, scallions, garlic, mild calabrese peppers, and ricotta. One thing I liked was the sliced potatoes, which added an interesting texture. I would highly recommend trying this pizza.
We ordered the Parma e Burrata to start, Pasta Tartufo, the Pink Alarm Fire pizza, and a rosé. As always, the Parma e Burrata and the pasta were spot on. Our waiter recommended pizzas #3, #11, or #24, and the Pink Alarm Fire did not disappoint. The wine was more or less what you would expect from a ~$10 bottle, nothing special but perfectly fine with the meal.
Overall, Wine Wednesday continues to be a great option for a night out, and I look forward to coming back.
The magic mushroom pizza was delicious with the hint of truffle that you can taste from the oil and the mushrooms and prosciutto went so well together. We all loved the pesto di pistachio pasta- creamy but also light at the same time and it paired really well with the salad!
The restaurant itself is pretty small so highly recommend booking a reservation! The dinner deal is definitely worth it and would def come back :))
To begin, my cutlery was noticeably dirty, and it took forever to get a replacement, the appetizers came out before the cutlery, and I had to remind them. Also had to ask for small plates to share the appetizers.
They also messed up the order because too many people were attending to us and not communicating effectively.
We had two pizzas which were decent, and then had the meatballs appetizer and also mussels and pasta, which were just OK. Meatballs were good, but the pasta lacked flavor and taste, mussels were bland.
Dont see myself returning here anytime soon, or if at all.
I saw lots of TO GO orders for pizza going through the door, but I think they need to do better regarding to dine in patrons.
I would like to request the team to maybe cut down on the oil, but other than that – super amazing! love it.
Every Wednesdays they have a combo meal offer of 1 appetiser, 1 pasta, 1 pizza, 1 dessert. We got burrata caprese salad, mussel pasta, Nayalita pizza, Tyson punch out pizza, basque cheesecake.
I personally love the burrata caprese (their pesto, balsamic and olive oil makes a saucey combo), Nayalita pizza (white base with caramelised onions, how to say no?) and basque cheesecake (dense and fluffy at the same time)!!
Even though we dined out for this review, the service was amazing every other time we dined in. Parking is a nightmare so uber/lyft.
