Tonight was our first time at Pink Flamingo, & it was a good, solid experience. I called a few minutes ahead of time, to make sure that (because it’s Valentine’s Day) there would be room, & someone confirmed that they would set aside a table, which I appreciated. We were seated promptly, & our server, Gabby, was wonderful; friendly & attentive.
I ordered the steak with the peppercorn sauce on the side, & someone came up to the table to let us know that the chef had made the steak with the sauce on top, & asked if that was okay, or if I wanted it remade. I was willing to wait the few extra minutes to have it remade (I don’t like coconut, & was glad to have had the sauce on the side). The steak was well-prepared, & the flavor was good. So were the seasoned fries.
The building seems to have some issues with flickering lights: every time the dishwasher turns on, the lights flicker, which was certainly not a deal-breaker, but a bit…distracting.
Also, they should have matchbooks! How cute would lil Pink Flamingo matchbooks be.
Overall, it was a good experience. Not stellar, but good!

Great atmosphere and staff was very friendly. The food was ok. I was expecting the spam chips to be warm but they were cold. They still tasted well. The kahuna burger had good sauce but the patty was not medium. The Pulled pork sandwich was not great. The rum and Coke sauce that was on it tasted like straight alcohol. Cocktail’s were really good and the fries were my favorite.

A great spot for craft cocktails. They offer interesting combinations with high quality ingredients. The bartenders were knowledgeable and friendly. I enjoyed the Macau Sour and Dizzy Flamingo.

What a fun and charming spot in walking distance from Baltimore attractions and local shops. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was charming and the food was very good. You never know who you will meet on an adventure and lucky me…I ran into Santa enjoying a drink and a meal at this establishment. So, it must be a winner .

Great spot! Cocktails are top notch! Tried the 15 minutes of fame and hot buttered rum. Food was delicious! Some of the best tofu I’ve ever had. Oxtail dumplings were also great. Loved the steak frites with coconut sauce and handmade pasta with coconut chili ragu. And to top it off the staff were so friendly and attentive!

Overall a great experience. Perfect spot for a date night or dinner and drinks with friends. We went during shark week and they were doing specialty drinks and giving some of the sales to the national aquarium.
The top items: the fries (perfectly seasoned, would go back just for these), the staff (actual gems of human beings), and the cocktail menu. I love a sweet and fruity cocktail and they have tons of options. They also have other options for a more mellow flavor if thats what you like.
What I would like to see improved: the Rum & Coke. It’s like a mix between a bahn mi and a pulled pork sandwich, but it’s lacking in sauce. I would love to be able to have something on the side to dip it in French dip style.
Truly this is a great addition to the neighborhood. Will definitely be returning.

I really wanted to like Pink Flamingo more than I did. And I really want to see it improve and succeed…plus it just got that James Beard nod! The good: really good cocktails, very nice staff, love the decor and remodel , especially the bar and first floor. Second floor could use more of what they have going on downstairs! The not so good: the food. In short, most of it was overpriced and oversalted. The one thing that wasn’t over salted actually needed salt, which was a baby sized saucer portion of a quinoa salad that cost 12 dollars. Wings were nice and crispy, but too salty. The tuna appetizer was heavy in mayo, but light on finesse and flavor. The crab wontons were doughy. The best food item was the cheeseburger…I want to say the Kahuna Burger? Good flavor, well seasoned meat, just a bit too greasy. I would like to see the grease factor lowered about twenty percent and you’ve got a great burger there. I would go back to sit at the bar, order some drinks (especially if they are on special …the night we went they had nine dollar mai tais all night that were FANTASTIC), but I would tread lightly ordering too much food until they get someone in the kitchen consistently tasting everything that goes out. We spent way too much money for food that had too many things wrong.

Colorful and funky cocktail bar with surprisingly delicious food. While the place seems best known for its creative cocktails, the food menu is equally impressive. We had the classic burger, and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had — incredibly juicy, with a soft yet sturdy bun that held everything together perfectly. The fries were equally delicious, nicely spiced with a little bit of heat. The service was great, and the staff were extremely friendly. You can sit at the bar or at a table, both offering a relaxed vibe. A perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the evening after work.

Pink Flamingo is a new bar that opened up in the area where Let’s Brunch Cafe used to be. I can’t comment specifically on the food, but the drinks were just alright. They were a little too strong to the taste of me and others in my party. They also took 30 minutes to come out, which is a bit long considering we didn’t order any food.
