I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Ping.
She was Very welcoming.
The menu is a self serve of fresh chinese food dishes. You serve yourself and pay according to scale weight.
The selection was hot, fresh and extremely tasty. It was true authentic tasting with absolutely no greasiness. You can even dine inside.
I definitely would recommend trying this restaurant and I can’t wait to return for lunch or dinner.
The chicken balls were so delicious!
Thank you Ping.

Dined in Wed. October 8th, 2025 on my way to Orillia. Fast and Friendly service while ordering Combo No. 1.
Quick plate service to table.
Jasmine tea was a definite plus!

Should have red the reviews first before buying food here. Ridiculously expensive and no taste. The egg rolls are terrible no taste what so ever. So disappointed with what I spent here to enjoy a good meal just to find out never to buy from here again.

Ping’s is ok, nothing great. They do provide large portions and have some good flavors. Beef Noodle and Red Chili Chicken were good. Bacon fried rice was interesting, but nowhere near as good as it sounds. Was disappointed with the food quality… pork was very tough, breading on the fried foods turned to mush. Menu is somewhat limited.

So far we’ve tried three Chinese restaurants in the area. The best we’ve been able to find is Friendly Restaurant. Ping’s would be a distant 2nd, then Six Flags.

They seemed accommodating and friendly. I always wish I got more meat at these ‘Americanized’ Chinese food places. Perhaps a reimagining of what Americanized Chinese food is, is in order. Or am I out of order? Anyways, I ate everything and felt full. I feel a bad only giving so many stars, as it’s a solid 5 for ‘what it is’.

Reliable spot, lemon sauce tastes too much like soap and fried rice ws bland. Noodles, beef & mixed veggies, spring roll and honey garlic ribs are delicious

I did the Lunch self serve to give it a try. I would never go back. The food was certainly not fresh and not cheap when it is weighed. I got there at 12 when it opens. I took a little of everything offered to make sure I got an honest taste test. The vegetable rice was already dry. and no flavour. The chicken balls have a pea size piece of chicken with an enormous ball of batter. The chicken also had a peculiar taste which was not fresh. I asked for egg rolls. The egg rolls were only bean sprouts soaked in water. My first bite I had water dripping out of it. My second egg roll I took out the bean sprouts and squeezed an excessive amount of water out of it. There was no seasoning or pieces of meat in them which an egg roll should have. The beef in the broccoli was hard to chew. The sauces and honey garlic ribs will increase the weight significantly. I spent $20 on my bowl which was only 1/2 full. The owner was nice, but the food is below standard and no where near fresh. Marks in Minden is still the best place to go for Chinese food.

We bought a lot of food to share as we just moved into Lindsay. Half the food was really good: honey-garlic ribs were great, fried rice was good, the fried wontons were suppose to be cheese but there was nothing in them, the general tso chicken was underwelming. The wonton soup was meh. Overall it was not bad if you are careful on what you buy.
