DO NOT EAT HERE!! I stopped here on Sunday afternoon and the place was empty. That was my 1st hint.
I ordered a triple meat dinner for $24. I ordered the brisket, ribs and chicken.
The brisket was way over cooked. Almost to the point of being cardboard and flavorless. It was literally grey in color see the pics. The chicken was overcooked as well but had a good flavor. The ribs were good. I also ordered the fried mushrooms which came out hot and good. Our fries came out hot as well.
My friend ordered the 12 pound burger which was made fresh and came out fresh made.
Overall, for a BBQ joint the BBQ is horrible!
The interior of the restaurant is old and dilapidated. The roof appears to be ready to fall in on us. The furniture, tables and everything are dated.
For $53 you’d figure you’d get better food.

Picked up a ribeye sandwich meal and some onion rings. Steak sandwich was well seasoned, cooked perfectly tender and finished great. Fries were hot and crispy with just the right amount of salt. Beer-battered onion rings were the perfect addition to the meal. Highly recommend giving it a try if you haven’t!

The place is Not attractive at all but that doesn’t always mean the food is bad. So I tried it. The food does seem good. But because of the cleanliness it has destroyed the reputation they had with me. Noway I will go back after the biggest roach ever was found in the bottom cup of barbecue sauce. The sick part was we saw what seem like a little black fiber we pulled on it and then freaked out. I still can’t get it out of my mind. Pure Disgusting. I have a pic. I have Not been back. Will Not go back. The store needs to be evaluated and inspected. ASAP.

I’ve eaten here before, many years ago. It was so much better. Today I had a bad experience. Ordered two chipped beef sandwiches, I wanted a link but they don’t sell it seperate. So I ordered a quarter pound, turns out its sausage. Two sides. Got asked if I wanted sauce on my sandwich and said no I’ll take it on the side. So I got charged for a side of sauce because she thought I wanted two sides of sauce. Twenty dollars for this little bit of food. Oh and I only got one small sandwich. The 2 stars are because the food wasn’t bad just room temperature.

Service was quick and the brisket was amazing! Something about a small local shop that feels more like home, cuts and measures your meat in front you, and is clean and pleasant.
I had a pound of brisket with a little sauce and onion rings. The brisket was perfect. Tender, juicy, and melted in my mouth. With the light crust and smoke ring, I knew I was good before I started. The onion rings we’re good size and tasted about as good as they could. Salt is needed or use the sauce… Which was very good. Little sweeter than I like (I don’t normally use sauce) but was tangy with a hint of pepper.
Loved it all. I’ll be back.

Start of with I stopped while they are doing work on the building so I have to be nuteral on that. We had the brisket sandwich and pecan pie with sweet tea. The brisket did a better job of relaxing me than a massage would! Simply melt in your mouth good! Great piece of pie and tasty tea, so just what I needed on a road trip. Not a dress up place, unless you prefer savory smoke over perfume!

The brisket was very dry and tough and had no smoky flavor. Had to bathe it in bbq sauce which was good. Pinto beans were flavorless and really pale looking. Cajun veggies were awesome!

I was in orange & I was wanting barbq. We stopped at Pinehurst barbq & oh my goodness ! Everything was AWESOME! The prices ,the service,the selection, the taste , EVERYTHING!!!. I will definitely be making Pinehurst barbq a regular stop . I feel like I’ve been missing out & I don’t want anyone else to miss out as well ! Try out the dirty rice ! You will not be disappointed!.Thank you Pinehurst bar b q !
