This would have been an all around 5 stars but today I ordered a ropa vieja empanada among other things. I did not get a receipt. I tipped. Cash. Once home the empanada was something that I am allergic to. The other empanadas were burnt on the bottom. I tried calling several times and got no answer. I still recommend it, but sadly no longer trust them. Make sure you check everything before you leave, especially if you have a food allergy.

I was treated so badly from a darker tone lady with a green collared 2/25/26 around 5:30pm.
I ordered 5 guava and cheese pastry’s.
She went in the back in put 5 hard pastries in a small box,I asked for a bigger box instead because the top wouldn’t close.
She handed me the box no bag or nothing..
Once I went outside I checked the pastry’s they were cold.
I asked politely can she warm them up,she took the box in the back. Once again the pastry’s was still cold.i asked for a bag in exited.
Why give cold pastries if there’s enough in the front that already available.
By the way I even showed her with my translator on my phone to warm them up please in Spanish.
So it’s not that she didn’t understand she just want to give me the same customer service the other customers received.

The best Colombian empanadas and Cuban coffee. The staff is amazing and really friendly—this will definitely be my go-to spot for coffee every day.

Went to this location (Sweetwater) early in the morning. Purchased a tray of mixed pastries and a colada. Pastries were good but the colada was disappointing. The disappointing part was that the entire cup was almost as small as the little cups you pour it into. Other bakeries in the area have bigger and cheaper coladas. So I recommend the food but skip the colada.

I have always loved this bakery and its pastries! I visited many branches and had the best experiences everywhere including the food and the great costumer service. But every time I visit this branch in sweetwater, since I live near by I treated badly. The workers are beyond rude and wouldn’t even respond to me when I talk. This is a great business but the customer service needs to be taken seriously. The worker I tried to talk to needs to be educated about retail service.
I never write a bad review about a place, but I hope this review helps the business runs better and give customers the experience they expect from pinecrest.

Ordered through ubereats. Large portions of My meal, missing. Orders are not donations. Just business. If you can’t keep up, just cancel the order and so i can get my money back. Not this nonsense.

COCKROACH, COCKROACH, COCKROACH. I visited on Saturday, November 8th to pick up an order. While waiting, I ordered some croquetas and sat down. Unfortunately, I noticed a cockroach happily walking around the place. I informed one of the servers, who came over and stepped on it, and another staff member removed it with a brush. This was just disgusting and it was too bad I could not cancel the orders. I will never go back to this place .

This bakery is a true gem! The pastries are always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The Cuban bread has that perfect balance of crisp crust and soft inside. The staff is warm, welcoming, and clearly take pride in their craft. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick coffee and pastel or ordering something special, you can always count on quality. Highly recommended for anyone who loves fresh, baked goods.

I wish I can give a ZERO to customer service. I asked the MANAGER at 107ave and flagler to please heat up 4 pastries and she said she couldn’t do that. Who wants to eat cold pastries. I told her that every other Pinecrest bakery never gives me any problems but her. My family and friends will never go there again.

My fellow co-workers and I have been patrons of the Pincrest Bakery chain for years. We now have found the BEST one of all at the Sweetwater branch. The staff, along with their new day shift manager are spectacular. The food is phenomenal and the Cuban cafecito is the best in all of Miami. We meet several times a week and the staff is extra attentive and will go out of their way to make our large party feel at home. Pinecrest has customers for life because the quality of people the have selected and the product they put out. Great job Joel and Efrain!
