Delicious food with generous portions and the interior atmosphere is cosy. Plus, the owner is friendly and attentive. There was ample parking when we went in for dinner on a weekend. Would return again.

If you like to support local businesses, and eat authentic delicious Chinese food in a place that has the wonderful nostalgic feel of an 80’s kung-fu movie where Bolo Yeung would magically appear to kick your butt for stealing a wonton, then this is your spot!

The food is great. Service is excellent. It’s definitely worth the drive to Isleton, Ca, on the Sacramento River along CA-160.

For the money, you’ll get enough food to eat and take home for another meal.

The server she was very nice. Wanton soup was okay. Mom disliked it. The egg drop flour soup was good. Veggies with sauce ok. Rice is rice so it was good. Lemon chicken was good. Veggie egg rolls was good.

Pineapple Restaurant has been here for years. I don’t get out to Isleton to often, but when I do, I make it a point to eat at Pineapple Restaurant. They are super friendly, have an extensive menu, good prices and great tasting Chinese food. I’ve had; Kung pao chicken, Salt and pepper tofu, House chow mein, Won ton soup and many others. All good, Highly recommend! Not too far from the intersection of highways 12 & 160, east side of the Rio Vista Bridge.

Food is very American Chinese and that’s on a different level. But I guess you are from out of town, you might have heard of the history of this neighborhood.
It’s cool, interesting, and the service is decent.
Great for takeout as well!

I am new to Isleton and decided to try our local Chinese Restaurant, Pineapple Restaurant. I ordered 2 dishes to go. I went with a House Fried Rice and Pineapple Chicken. Service was friendly. The restaurant is warm and welcoming. I took my food home and I have to say, it was really great! The rice was full of shrimp, chicken and pork and was flavorful, fluffy and plentiful. I loved the citrusy, tangy, crispy Pineapple chicken. The sauce was gingery and citrusy. I enjoyed both and I look forward to trying more dishes.

One of our favorite road trip eateries. We always go for our favorite dish of pineapple tofu. They use a firm tofu, lightly fried on each side in a sweet and sour sauce with carrots, bell pepper and onions. For this trip we had broccoli chicken and rice. Rice comes extra and is pretty much a single serving for semi hungry people. Friendly staff, family owned and they have been there for years. Update Dec 2023 Isleton has some new businesses – coffee shops and a new deli that’s a hot and good prices. Come up for a visit.

Negative stars. Im unsure as to why this place has any good reviews. This was not even the worst Chinese, but the worst food ive ever eaten. We spent $80 and the wontons were cold, doughy and filled with pizza cheese. The fried rice is simply rice with soy sauce mixed in and tastes like propane. Don’t waste your time.

Run of the mil Chinese food place in Isleton. We had the Generals chicken n the chicken chow main. The Generals chicken was drenched in more sauce than I like and really needed some ginger. The chow main wasn’t anything special. They had a really good selection of beers though, the staff was helpful and it was uncrowded.
