1st time here. Stopped in for burgers after our hike & this was definitely an amazing find. Not too busy for a Saturday afternoon. Greeted & service was awesome giving us recommendations. Had the swiss mushroom with grilled onions (sooo melty good), the bacon & bleu, & the smoldering pine along with a side of reg fries & pesto fries (both delicious). Got ranch for dipping & it tasted maybe it had dill in it which was yummy. We had our puppers with us so we sat out on the patio which was dog friendly & they brought out a water bowl (thanks!). On the way out we got a banana shake to go & a doggy bag for leftovers. If i lived in town this place would be my go to favorite but will definitely be back when passing through.

Wow, this was such a cute place! We were passing through Grass Valley, and we wanted milkshakes, so after seeing the reviews, we decided to go here. That was an amazing decision.
The menu is unique, and even most of the sauces are house-made. Although we personally didn’t try the sauces, they sounded amazing!
I got the Garlic and Onion burger, and my friend got the hot dog version of it (I can’t remember exactly what it was called). We also got a chocolate and Nutella milkshake, and they were delicious!
The outside seating was so cute, perfect for enjoying the cool, sunny weather. There was also a good amount of indoor seating as well. The parking lot was a little small and crowded, but it was still easy to park a large truck.
Overall, we would definitely come back here again, and I hope next time I can try the garlic fries and some of the sauces!!

Stopped by here with a friend after a long hike, we were HUNGRY! We were there from 2pm tk 3pm, despite the odd hours to be eating a late lunch the place was still poppin’ with people— and for good reason!
The fresh burger did not disappoint. I like how everything seemed to be made to order. The fries were just OK to my personal preferences: I thought that they could have carried more flavor and could have been a little more crispy. Otherwise, they were your generic fries, and it’s hard to go wrong with fries!
You have to at least try the house made ketchup. I personally thought it was too vinegar forward, it tasted like it would be better on something like pulled pork instead of as a condiment to fries and a burger.
The staff were really kind, and I liked the laidback atmosphere.
Will return!

Great burgers! Everything was fresh and piping hot. We even went back the next day for shakes and chili cheese fries. Not recommending the Asian chicken wrap though, as my wife said hers was quite soggy. Everything else was awesome. Pricy, but everything is these days. I could eat that garlic and onion cheeseburger everyday…

Drove 30 minutes just to try the Nut Burger — and it was absolutely worth it! The burger was incredible from top to bottom, perfectly made and packed with flavor. Their in-house ketchup was fantastic and really took it to the next level. Definitely one of the best burgers I’ve had. I’ll gladly make the drive again!

Visited yesterday based on existing reviews. Two cheeseburgers with grilled onions, one order of fries, one chocolate milkshake and a modest tip, $49. Fries were great. Burger wrappers were soaked with grease as was the the burger/bun. Maybe a bad day on the grill? Staff was awesome. Product was really disappointing. Sorry guys

The menu had tasty choices for everyone, from carnivores to herbivores! The vegan options looked delicious but we only tried beef burgers. The burgers were great and our kids loved the kids meal. Shake was out of this world. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to keep our children entertained while we waited! We will be back for another milkshake run!!

I’ve gotten their burgers and dogs before and they’re great. This time I ordered an Asian salad with grilled chicken. it was very disappointing.
It was billed as having all the following, but mine basically just had Romain Lettuce, carrots and a few water chestnuts .No snow peas, no green onions, One tiny piece of cilantro, Very little cabbage, And the dressing was like flavored water. Very, very thin, The chicken was dry white white chicken breast. . And then they charge you extra for more dressing. When I went up to the counter to verify this was the proper salad, they said yes , All those other things were mixed into the Slaw mix. Hmmmm …..I must’ve had a different slaw mix.
Won’t be ordering this here again.

We’ve gone to Pine Street Burger several times in the past year. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. The burgers and fries are delicious. While I am not a fan of the house ketchup, they are always happy to accommodate with regular ketchup.
We love the fact that the music is played at a low volume so you can still enjoy a conversation.
Dining area is quaint and relaxing.

Ate here for the first time today. I’d heard they have the best burgers in the area, so I was excited to finally try one. I ordered the garlic and onion burger and regular french fries. The burger was ok, but I feel like they overdid it with both the onion and the garlic. I love sautéed onions, but I found myself pulling them off in huge clumps, and there were WHOLE garlic cloves on my burger. I feel like there is a better, slightly more subtle way of doing a garlic and onion burger. I probably should have just ordered the basic burger.
The fries were good, but the ketchup was absolutely terrible. I’m all for making your own ketchup to cut out all those ingredients no one can pronounce, but it still has to taste good and this was really bad. I decided to take the remainder of my fries home to eat with real ketchup.
I’m disappointed for sure. I doubt I will return.
