Amazing food. Will be back to try more! Had the prime rib and also the blackened tuna as appetizer. Apparently has a fish fry with broasted chicken and the fish for 15.95? All you can eat some days. I would look up their specials! Wild rice soup was delicious. Had a apple pie drink and also a grasshopper to end the meal. You don’t go home hungry.

Great service and fabulous food. We had the Prime Rib and Salmon Alfredo.
The best of all was the appetizer of Escargot. The best we have had since we returned from Germany. The one drawback was the extended wait time to be seated. The place has a great reputation for good food, which draws a lot of folks, but an hour plus wait right after opening is excessive.

First timer to Pine Ridge Restaurant – heard many good things. It did not disappoint! Enjoyed the fish fry, which came with tasty walleye and broasted chicken, huge portions! Look forward to trying other menu items in the future. Our server, Mirrian, was terrific…hard-working and so upbeat! In fact, all servers and attendants were very friendly…greeting us when we came in and upon departure! It was crowded as it is Friday Fish Fry, but the wait list moved quickly. Overall, a very enjoyable dining experience…I’m a believer!

I have been coming here for many many years now and I still, hands down, think this is the best place to come for fish and chicken. The owner Jonathan comes around to make sure everything is good. I recently for the first time came on a Saturday night and finally had the prime rib. Excellent. And the blackened scallops were amazing!! If you want a great Northwoods fish-fry experience….this is the place!!

This was our most disappointing visit and probably our last.

Showed up at 5:18, waited an hour and 30 for a party of 2.
Ordered 2 prime ribs rare very specific to waitress.
Was served well done and tough (reheated?) When we addressed it to staff, the manger came out and told us it was too “late ” in the night to get that. We explained we would not have ordered it if we couldn’t get it to order.
No compensation or accountability…
Not even a drink.
Just a very disappointing anniversary dinner.
Posted on their Facebook page and they deleted.

The fish and chicken are very good. They bring warm fry bread covered in powdered sugar while you wait for your order. Excellent atmosphere. Either come early or plan to wait for a bit. Definitely worth the experience.

This place came highly recommended. Went there and was not disappointed! Got there 30 minutes after they opened and had to wait about 15 minutes. Server, (Kim) was awesome. Went on a Friday night for fish/chicken. ($17.95) Meal is served family style”. It is all-you-can-eat and there was enough that we didn’t need to order more and had left-overs to take home. (you are allowed to take any left-overs home on the first food brought to you).
Everything was excellent. (meal even comes with a glass of blush wine) Good food. Good people. Well definitely go back!

We visited on 8/13/23. First off, go early, which we did. We got there at 4:30pm (they open at 4pm), we had a 105 minute wait for a party of 7. So bring some games or drinks to tailgate because you’ll be waiting a while. There was a limited menu this day of fried fish, baked fish, or spaghetti. Then it all came with fried chicken, french fries or a baked potato, coleslaw and fry bread. I was bummed I couldn’t get a steak. Food was okay. Cocktails were good. Parking lot fills up fast.
With the limited menu on this date the dining was not worth the wait. I just don’t know if I’ll ever go back for a full menu night because the wait is just too long. They do not accept reservations.

We just moved to Birchwood and had friends visiting, and we heard about this place. We had to wait for a table, so we waited at the bar and ordered some drinks. Not too long, and a table became available. The waitress was very friendly, knew everything that was on the menu, didn’t forget a thing when we ordered, super service. We got our food, and it was awesome. It was so good, and nice portion. Went home with dogy bags. We definitely come here again. Very impressive. Thank you !
Came with friends, and like always, the best food and the best time. All you can eat Walleye and braised chicken. We had the same waitress as last time, Maryann, and she is really great. Super friendly, very attentive. Everybody is very friendly, from the young gentleman that seated us to the people that clean the tables. Definitely, come here again.Thank you.Keep up the good work.
