I’ve been coming to Frankie & Johnny’s (Pine Restaurant) since I was a kid. Everything was as amazing as ever. Our server Johnny was friendly, attentive, funny, and had a warm demeanor that made us feel right at home, The food, forget about it. Delicious flavor, everything tasted fresh and made with love, and the portions are family style, which is very nice. The bread and salad are fresh and delicious as well- and lets you know that what’s to come is going to blow you away. I can’t wait to come back, and of course we’ll be asking to be seated with Johnny.

Went to Pine on Thanksgiving for their Thanksgiving menu and what a disappointment that was! It took over an hour to get our salad, they forgot one of our appetizers and the pasta course and the Thanksgiving dinner was disgusting: sweet potatoes and cranberry sauce from a can, barely cooked Brussel sprouts and cold turkey. We were missing three sides from the entree. Never again and would not recommend. Why advertise a Thanksgiving meal if you cannot deliver?!

Excellent service, Ray is an excellent waiter. The food was great, as always, and every dish was served hot. We had a party of 11 people and everyone was completely satisfied. I highly recommend this place for any occasion.

This is the kind of place you go to when you want a glass of something interesting, not just the usual suspects. The wine list is clearly curated with care—lots of small producers and unique varietals you don’t see everywhere. Our server knew the list inside and out and helped us pick a bottle that paired beautifully with our meal without being pretentious about it. They even offered us a taste first. The food is clearly designed with the wine in mind; the flavors complement each other perfectly. A wonderful spot for oenophiles and casual drinkers alike.

We recently hosted our son’s first birthday party at F&J Pine, and everything was absolutely perfect. We worked closely with Aldi, who was so easy to work with—accommodating, responsive, and genuinely caring. He checked in with us often to make sure everything was going smoothly, even before the event. The entire staff was incredibly attentive from start to finish, always making sure we and our guests were well taken care of.
One of the most thoughtful touches—they packed food for us to take home, knowing we’d be too busy hosting to sit down and eat during the party. The space was clean, the atmosphere was warm and friendly, and the food was delicious. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend for any special event!

This place is absolutely divine. Try the lasagna, the lobster ravioli, the big sea food platter, anything on the menu you can’t go wrong with it. Service is great, if you don’t have a reservation they still make sure you get a table at a decent time. Parking is fairly easy to find on off peak days. Bar is also amazing, they made me any drink I wanted and the bartender was also great at conversations. Must try gem in the Bronx.

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary on 12/27/25. The celebration was a total success. The room was comfortable with its own coat closet and private entrance. The food was delicious annd included choices that met the needs of our vegan/ vegetarian guests. Our guests are still talking about how much fun they had. A shout out to Kelly and Aldi for responding to every single e-mail for their suggestions and for all their support. Dj Serge was very accommodating and pleasant as well. We definitely recommend this place for dinning and celebrations as well.
