We were there 11:45am for lunch with a group of 7 mid October 2025. There was one waitress, Linda I think, and a cook. I called ahead to make sure they were open (northwoods in late fall) and told them we had a group of 7 SXS riding there shortly. We got there and a table was all prepped for us. As we sat we watched group after group roll in. We were in and out in an hour, and we could have left sooner if we wanted to, but the views there keep ya seated. Linda kept drinks full and hustled around the busy place tending bar and serving. A true champion of great service. The homemade onion rings had our table singing sweet glory to the cook. The calamari was also very good. We had the crab cakes as well and those were amazing! I had the Boom Boom Chicken sandwich special. Everything felt like a scratch kitchen, we had a tremendously tasty meal. It was hot and came out quick. This place was exceptionally high functioning, friendly, and absolutely smashed out expectations into the stratosphere. Cannot wait to come back!

Went for The Fish Fry last Fryday Nite. Everyone in out party really enjoyed their fish. I got the Broiled Haddock, and it was one of the best I have ever had. We got seated early and the service was outstanding for how busy it was.

We stopped here with friends while participating in the pumpkin run ATV ride. Nice bar located off the beaten path that we enjoyed stopping in for a drink. Nothing too remarkable as far as the ambience too day… But the staff was pleasant and quick to get us a drink. My friend had a bowl of Chili for which she enjoyed and we all had fun for the short time we were here. The scenery outside was beautiful for which the lake was just a short distance away.

My husband and I came here on a Friday for the fish fry. His Cajun crusted walleye had areas of rawness in it. We brought this to the attention of the waitress and not only did she not offer to have it fixed or provide a new piece of walleye, but she only offered us 50% off because my husband had eaten “half of the fish”. What kind of logic is that? I will never go back here nor will my husband. Shameful.

We have eaten here many times in the past. Not lately. Not in many years and do not even know who owns it now. I am posting for the old owners and their supper club and menu and seating. I am disabled now and housebound so going there as I have read, is not the same as it used to be. We have wonderful memories of the old place with their cabins and sitting at the bar looking out over the lake. We cherish it now in memory of old.

Great place for lunch or dinner. Steaks are the best! Friday fish fry is excellent. Nice view for the lake while you dine. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Great place for a brunch meeting or dinner party.

I was very unimpressed with the food however, I was very unpleasantly surprised by the attendance of the restroom area. As soon as I entered the area of where people relieve themselves of urine and fecal matter, I was shocked to see how little had been cleaned from where people had not been putting urine and fecal matter where it belonged

Lodge Restaurant and bar are beautiful with great food. We stayed in the cabins-simple but perfect for a snowmobile trip with my sons-right on the trail.

What an awesome experience! Not only was the food (ham hock and schnitzel dinner) so good, it was the whole dining experience. Our cook brought our food to our table after preparing it. I felt as if I were at my grandmothers home for Sunday dinner. We can’t wait to go back and discover more of the menu!! I’m only sorry it came to the end of the season. The best of all is, tomorrow they will cook all the food left and give it free! See you next season!!
