Yams was hard cut too big gross , they had pineapples in them the Mac and cheese was mushy over cooked tasted like eggs and processed cheese . They had no Tatar sauce for the fish only thing that was good was the fish. Calling this seasoned rice is HILARIOUS. There’s not even a grain of SALT in this. Disgusting. And some cold greens I did NOT ask for….yum. Asked for macaroni and didn’t receive it. If you don’t have a requested side, you should ask what the person wants. Not give them something random or NOTHING at all. Side was missing on second meal. Took forever to even get the food. Won’t order from here again

I came in craving some fried shrimp. I was greeted kindly by the manager. He was very sweet and patient despite having many orders to take and make. The wait time was long as there were only 2 workers so expect you food to take at least 30 minutes. Despite that, the food was fresh and delicious. I will be back again.

The absolute worst customer service you can’ recieve from a business! The wait times are ridiculous. They are black owned so you want to continue supporting them. I ordered food last sat. And some kid’s answered the phone playing with one another, they could barely take my order and constantly placed me on hold because they were playing. I called this evening to place an order and the young man was taking my order was so rude and hung up on me as I paused for a moment to think about what I wanted. I called back and no one answered. My mom live near them and she wants fish so I’ve tried to go there but Black owned or not, I will never patronize or suggest this place to anyone!

Me and my two daughters walked in for food on 6/10/25 there was a bald head guy who was to serve us as we walked in he was looking at us crazy because he knew he had three meals to prepare which should of been a red flag for me how he looked at us I should of know our food was not gone be on point very dry with us not enthusiastic to help us our fries was half done the haddock was not fried long enough I had to give my daughter Mine cause hers was soggy and falling apart we paid 73 dollars for our meal to be treated poorly and out of all the years that I ate there I never experience that before you should not work somewhere that your going to be nasty and not put your all in making the customer food right but that’s my fault for buying food there when his energy was way off learning experience though smh

Went there on my lunch break excited for some soul food my friend said their food is usually done to pick the items out you want food wasn’t done told me 15-20 minutes turned out to be almost 40 minutes and when I finally got back to work to eat my chicken was not done it was bleeding still completely lost my appetite i wont be going there again and will be calling for a refund

I ordered a fish dinner by phone at 725pm, and was given a pick-up time of 8pm. I arrived at 815pm and my dinner was not ready!
There were several upset customers there waiting for their orders. The employees were dry, unconcerned, and very slow.
I finally received my order at 915pm. I only waited that one because every time I asked how much longer I was told 5-6 minutes. The food was okay, but it was definitely not worth the wait. There’s plenty of fish fry’s in the city cheaper, less wait time, and better tasting.I will never patronize their business again
