Having grown up in LA, I tend to be a little picky about Chinese restaurants. All in all, this is a good clean place with generally good Chinese food. The service could be more friendly, but I would still recommend this to most people. The prices are reasonable. No problem parking. Very nice clean restroom, especially for a Chinese restaurant.

Started coming here earlier in the year. Growing up in Oregon City I wish I ate here sooner. The food was surprisingly good. It is your standard American Chinese fare but what we’ve eaten had been delicious.

This is the worst food ever! Not even edible. We had to eat something after a long day at the ER room. Everything looks nasty, and server was rushing us to order because they are closing soon. The black bean chicken looks worse than dog food, some kinda mushed soup. Don’t ever come here this place needs to go!!!

Ordered Happy Family, The worst I’ve ever had, the beef and pork was tough. I know a dark sauce is a personal preference but I don’t prefer it. Thr above meet being tough and the prices changed would never make me want to come back.

I came last year and came back again, the food was delightful to eat and the staff were very friendly. Their portions on the dish were massive. The orange chicken was like butter melting on my tongue, it was so good I had to tell everyone at the table that it was so good. Would come back for more

Considering all the good food options in the Portland metro area, it surprisingly isn’t easy to find really good Chinese food. After reading the reviews I was excited to try Pine Garden. Sadly it isn’t much better than other Chinese food in the area. The egg flower soup was just ok, the spring roll was greasy, the general Tso chicken had a very thick and dark sauce which was a bit overwhelming. The best part of my meal was the pork fried rice. Now I might have given this place another try and picked something other than the general Tso chicken, however they REFUSED TO ACCEPT THEIR OWN COUPON. The coupon clearly states that you must spend $25 or more and purchase 2 beverages. NO WHERE did the coupon say that the beverage price does NOT count towards the total spent. So my wife and I spent $21+ on food and another $5+ on 2 beverages only to be told we didn’t spend enough to use the $5 off coupon. This is very poor customer service and I feel ripped off.
