Locally sourced American cuisine served in a remote log cabin with a cozy vibe & mountain views.

Great location/scenic views with nice outdoor seating. Nice interior design. Good service, but with a 20% gratuity automatically charged, good or bad service doesn’t have an incentive to be better. Quality of food is mediocre for the price. You’re paying for the view.
I tried the Elk chops and liked it. At $89, it was just okay. My wife tried the salmon and again nothing great about it but it was overpriced.

My wife and I had dinner here during a recent visit. My steak was cooked to perfection and here fish also cooked to perfection. We both had dessert me the brownie and here the apple strudel, excellent for both. The interior of the restaurant was very nice. Our view during dinner was probably the most beautiful view we have had at dinner.

As an Aspen wedding photographer, Pine Creek Cookhouse is one of the most breathtaking venues I’ve had the joy of working at. Nestled in the heart of the Elk Mountain range, it offers sweeping views and an incredible ceremony site. Its remote location adds to the charm. There’s no cell service, which makes it feel like a private retreat where couples and their guests can unwind.
The cozy log cabin, surrounded by wildflowers in summer, is paired with amazing food and service. PCC combines exclusivity, beauty, and warmth, making it such a special place to celebrate a wedding.

Absolutely loved our visit! Excellent food with great service. Highly recommend the smoked trout dip. It’s delicious. I had the daily sandwich special which was pulled pork that day. So yummy! Everyone in our party of 5 enjoyed their food including my 3 year old granddaughter. The atmosphere is great. We loved exploring outside by the creek and small waterfall.

We absolutely love Pine Creek Cookhouse and make a point to eat here every year when we’re camping nearby. Hiking in is part of the experience, and it’s always worth it.
The staff and owners are consistently kind, welcoming, and thoughtful, and this year they went especially above and beyond. The food is excellent every time, and we love that even the kids menu is done well—our 6-year-old loves the rainbow trout every year.
A truly special place with wonderful hospitality, great food, and an unforgettable setting. We can’t recommend it highly enough.

Excellent trout, salmon bowl, elk frankfurter and quinoa. Great ski junkie waiter and the views are astounding. Great 40-minute hike through meadows and aspen forests from the parking lot and the remnants of Ashcroft mining town.

They add in a 20% gratuity even for small parties, which could explain the lackluster service, but it’s really hard to be this bad even when your tip is guaranteed. One refill on our fountain drinks in 75 minutes. We asked multiple service staff and were brushed off like a diet coke was some kind of big request. Our waiter disappeared for huge stretches of time, and no one else was willing to assist. Thank goodness the Duck Bahn Mi and steak sandwich we ordered were delicious, or Pine Creek wouldn’t have broken past 2 stars. It is nice they allow dogs, and their view is pretty good. But wow, what a crap waiter.

Fantastic experience!
(Cross-country) ski-in ski-out amazing lunch. Set menu choose starter and main course. Yes there are vegan options. Highly recommend aspen experience! Great service, respectable wine list. Sense of place 10/10.

We fell in love with the view at Pine Creek Cookhouse and knew this was the perfect location for our intimate destination wedding. What we didn’t know ahead of time, was how incredible the food, service, and staff would be on our wedding day. I work in the event industry in South Florida and the experience we had on our wedding day, from the food to the service, was on par with the best luxury hotels in Miami. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how good the food was. Johnny underpromised and overdelivered on everything. We cannot thank the team at Pine Creek enough for making our wedding day the best day of our lives.

Price outrageous as once they add tax, tip to the total ( they consider your $200 reservation to be a deposit ) add anything to drink and you are at $300 per person!!! Then add a ride up and you add another up to $72.
If you don’t pay for the ride, you get a cold walk this year as little snow of 1.5 miles to get to the restaurant.
The service within the restaurant is atrocious! Our waiter was rough, appearing to not like his job.
The food mediocre, you could go to Nobu for less and have much better quality food at Heathers.
My second and last lifetime eating at an overpriced, mediocre resturant that I had to walk 1.5 cold miles to and pay $300 total for dinner.
Read their cancellation policy, you could be on your last breath and you cannot cancel. No snow and you cannot cancel
