Local fishermen and crabbers leave our shores daily and guide their boats out into the Gulf of Mexico to fish on behalf of Pinchers. They return each night with the best that the Gulf has to offer. They bring this precious catch to us and are one of the primary reasons for our success. My husband and I recently had dinner at Pinchers(2360 W. First Street, Fort Myers) for the very 1st time. Our waitress was Mandy, and she was just wonderful. She was attentive, very cordial, and eager to help us have our best dining experience. Mandy patiently answered all of our questions.
We ended up ordering the stuffed grouper and the friend orange shrimp, and both were fabulous!
I highly recommend this location!

The food here is very good. I had some stone crab claws and crab stuffed shrimp. The outdoor seating overlooks the water and is very soothing. Their desert,fried key lime pie, was enough two And very sweet. I got the desert free with my admission to the Edison Ford Museum, next door.

We stopped here for lunch on our way down to Sanibel Island. The restaurant is right on the water and was busy. We were able to sit outside overlooking the marina. Our server Charity was great. My husband ordered a bowl of crab and corn chowder and I ordered a lobster roll with french fries and cole slaw. The lobster roll was served on a white bread toast — for $29 the 1/2 cup serving was too much mayo/celery. The coleslaw was tasteless and the french fries came out cold and hard. After asking for new fries the second batch came out hot but hard and burnt. Will not be returning.

Pretty view, that was about it. Sat at the bar and Charity was the bar tender. Very average attitude and not overly friendly. Did her job but that was about it. Stone claws were a little mealy and blue crab claw appetizer was over cooked. Was overall disappointed.

visit april 25: codi, our server was very friendly and awesome. food was by far the best we’ve had in fort myers (stayed 2 nights) had the mussles, nachos with dip (crab?) the salmon and i forgot what the girlfriend got. place is clean, nice view.

We were visiting friends in Fort Myers who recommended Pinchers. Jamie, our waitress, introduced herself and told us she was new. Despite being new, her service was top drawer and so was the atmosphere and food. We travel throughout Florida in the winter from St Augustine to Key West and Jamie was as helpful and professional as anyone on this trip. We would definitely recommend and will visit again.

First time at this Pinchers location. Has the best water views location for sure. The restaurant is on the second floor so you need to walk up some stairs. Went during happy hour which has drinks bogo. Started off with 6 buffalo chicken wings which were pretty amazing so I ordered 6 more. Tried a cup of chicken and Lulu soup which was pretty tasty Enjoyed the fish tacos and an IPA. The baklava was the icing on the cake.

THIS IS THE PLACE FOR CRAB CAKES! I’m not even a huge fan but hubby is… I tasted them and boy they were fantastic. His garlic mashed potatoes were lacking but the baked beans were really good. I ordered the broiled scallops with homemade fries and slaw. The scallops were aweful. They looked like they had flavor by all the seasoning but were terribly bland. My server brought me coconut shrimp instead. They were good. The fries with homemade ranch didn’t disappoint either. The drink menu was a two for one price. We thought they would bring the second one when we finished the 1st one but instead they brought all four! I would’ve given five stars if it hadn’t been for the bland scallops and mashed potato’s. The service was impeccable… very attentive. We had a water view as well.

Great food and service. My wife is Celiac and she felt fine after the meal. They have a gluten free menu that is good. We had the hot peel and eat shrimp and the blackened grouper with coleslaw, mashed potatoes, and green beans. The food was fresh and delicious! For drinks we had the 2 for 1 Margaritas and Chardonnay, and finished the meal with tasty espresso martinis. Look at the picture of Sam carrying them! Our server Sam was very attentive and nice to talk to. The second floor outside deck overlooking the river was great and we loved the high top table and chairs. Highly recommend this location and Sam for your server!
