First time here and I ordered veggie rice and fries, I did not get a single grain of rice nor any veggies

Not 4.8 at all. Don’t know how this place has such an average. Bowl was extremely subpar. Barely any veggies and the fried chicken was over fried and questionable in the way I that wondered if it was chicken. My friend and I didn’t finish our bowls and didn’t want to keep the leftovers either. Not like us at all. I walked back to the truck and asked the guy if I could give him feedback (I would much rather do that than leave a review). He shook his head and said no. Will never be going back.

I have enjoyed Pinch to go every now and then. However, I won’t be going back. I found a black hair in my rice today, and it ruined my appetite Very nice workers but the establishment NEEDS better hygiene. The new tangulu should NOT be just sitting outside the food truck too. Unhygienic 🙁

I used to love Pinch and go pretty frequently even though it can be expensive. But genuinely whoever works in the truck thinks he can just take advantage of college students because we won’t speak up. I picked multiple bases in the food because it said choose up to 2 and then he decided to put whatever he wanted and I chose to go up and speak to him and he didn’t give me even a thought and watched me place another order. In the sake for him to get 13 dollars in the moment he’s lost me as a customer and many others who I share this story with. I will never spend a cent here again.

I ordered a beef bento box. The hot beef was put into a plastic container, which caused the container to melt and leak chemicals into the beef. There is a hole in the lid from the heat. I can’t eat this.

The guy that works there (at least the late night shift) is one of the most rude humans i have come across in the food industry. Only gives one word answers and blows you off if you try asking any questions. Also extremely inconsistent closing times, ive come at 1:30 (they close at 2) only for him to rudely turn me down and ignore me when i ask what time they actually close at. Completely ruined my love for Pinch and as long as hes working there i dont plan on coming back

Pinch was my go to place for quite a while. I was aware of the multiple reviews mentioning bugs in broccoli but I discounted them as one off unlucky occurences until it happened to me. This place does have a serious hygiene problem.

This amazing food truck is just steps away from the fountain at UT, and 2 blocks from my hotel. Outstanding food at great prices.

Food was fresh, hot, and quality. Absolutely worth it, especially for the price. I think it was only about $10-11 total.

Worth trying!

My friend introduced this place to me and they served very good food for a very good price!!! The owner was so nice as well! The food truck is located right next to target so whenever you go by Target, you should stop by!

I’ve been to Pinch so many times now and the fried chicken bento box is always delicious! The owner is also really nice – I was the only one there at 10:30 AM (right when it opened LOL) and he offered to let me try some of the beef when I asked what it tasted like. It was thinly sliced and marinated beef brisket with onion, and it was amazing! I really enjoyed the umami aspect of it and will definitely have to order a beef box next time.

Overall, this is a great place to go to if you want cheap, yummy food and to support a small business! Pinch is truly a staple of UT and I highly recommend checking this place out if you’re on campus!
