Between the first pics (purple shirt) and the second (army shirt) is 4 years different. My son first pizza was Pina’s. We love it so much. That even today after his first braces the only food he wanna eat is Pina’s. We come here like 2 or 3 times a week. Picking up quick lunch special to take for my son after school. Or even after special event, where my son is so picky and didn’t have a food for him there, we know, that Pina’s pizza will safe the day. The pics are from 2021 through 2025 and you can see the cheese pizza is consistent. Always the same. It’s PERFECT and delicious. Actually have to try their “Sicilian pizza” and just to mention my hubby is a New Yorker he love Pina’s pizza, if you know what I mean. Also fyi for delivery is better to call in and let deliver by Pina’s drivers. Love you Pina’s
They offer a wide variety of pizzas, all with perfectly baked crust, flavorful and well-balanced sauce, and fresh ingredients you can taste in every bite. Their Italian menu also includes delicious pastas and more, making it a great spot for all tastes.
What made my visit even better was the service. Andres took amazing care of us—friendly, attentive, and always making sure we had everything we needed. He recommended options and made us feel like long-time customers.
In short, Pina Pizzeria delivers delicious food, variety, a great atmosphere, and outstanding service. A place I highly recommend and will definitely visit again.
Now first off — location, baby! It’s right next to Arcade Odyssey, so after you’ve lost all your quarters trying to beat Street Fighter with one hand and a Red Bull, you can stumble out and BAM! Pinas Pizza is standing there like, “You hungry? I got you.”
And lemme tell you — this pizza? This ain’t no fancy, wood-fired, gluten-free, kale-on-top, college-art-project nonsense. This is that real, old-school, I’m up in Queens (1992), after Hurricane Andrew I’m living at my auntie’s apartment type of pizza! You know what I’m talkin’ about. The kind of pizza where the cheese burns your mouth but you keep eating anyway ’cause you ain’t no punk.
The slice? Man, it looks like the Italian flag waved at your taste buds. Big, thin, crispy on the outside, chewy like your cousin’s first mixtape on the inside. That slightly charred crust? That’s the good stuff. That’s not burnt — that’s flavor, baby. That’s history.
The sauce? Raw, tangy, like it just came outta the tomato’s mouth. It’s got that zing! Like it’s talkin’ back to you. “Oh, you thought you were just gonna eat me? Naw, son — we havin’ a conversation!”
Then there’s the cheese. Lawd. That mozzarella’s stretchier than your uncle’s truth at a family reunion. Creamy, salty, gooey — it’s like a melted mozzarella hug for your soul.
And the staff? Man, the staff treats you like family. Not that fake “have a nice day” stuff. I’m talking real family — like they gon’ yell at you if you don’t fold your slice, then turn around and give you a free soda ’cause they like your style. That’s love. That’s Pinas.
Bottom line? Pinas Pizza ain’t just pizza — it’s a portal. One bite and boom — you’re back in Queens, back in ‘92, sittin’ on a stoop with grease on your fingers and happiness in your heart. So if you want real-deal pizza with real-deal people, skip the trend and hit up Pinas.
And don’t be cheap — tip them good. You’re not just paying for a slice, you’re paying for a memory.
The bbq chicken pizza was not overly sauced, and both the all meat and pepperoni pizzas were amazing. The garlic roles were also soft and fresh, not dried out like the chains.
If visiting the area, make sure to grab pie from them.
