Absolutely amazing. So adorable. The owner came and spoke to us. The waitress was so nice. She was a junior in highschool and just a fun spirit. We ordered such a variety. So beautiful and fun atmosphere.

Worth the drive!!! The ambience is lovely. Service was exceptional and food was great! Drinks were super fun. We went for my birthday. Started with 9 holes of golf at the local course and finished with a nice surprise is a small town. Highly recommend Pina Colada!!! Overall ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!

I just want to preface that the food here is phenomenal and that the only complaint I have is the waiter I dealt with.
Went here on Valentine’s Day with my significant. The male server we had who was probably 17-18 was the worst waiter I have ever had in my life. To start, we walked in at 6:15. The waiter didn’t bring out my SOs drink and didn’t come back to our table to check on us 30+ minutes. So after about 15-20 minutes, I had to ask another waitress, who wasn’t even for our table, to get it instead. After getting the drink, we waited another 30-40 minutes when we saw the couple who came in AFTER us get their appetizer, food, and check all before we got ours. It was about 7:00-7:10 at this point and the waiter STILL has not come back to our table. We saw him roaming around the other side of the restaurant not doing anything. I again had to ask the other waitress about our sushi, which she went and checked and just happened to be prepared when she brought it back to us. So our sushi must have been sitting in the back the whole time. But turns out, we only got 2 out of the 3 rolls that we ordered. So waiting for another 20 minutes for another waiter to get close enough to us to talk to, I had to again ask the other waitress about the 3rd roll, which she said she’d go check. So now after an entire 1hr and a 1/2 from when we ordered, the waiter finally comes back to check on us, but here’s the kicker, the genius didn’t put in the 3rd roll, even though I explicitly told him which one at the start. At around 7:45-50ish, he then told us that it was going to be a while before it was done even though we had been waiting around 20 minutes after REORDERING the roll. At this point, I was beyond fed up and asked for the manager. Maybe 3 minutes after telling us the food was going to be a bit, the manager tells us it’s been DONE in the back. So this waiter openly lied to our face. After all was said and done it was 8:10 and all we got out of this whole ordeal was a free cheesecake (which was incredibly good). I would absolutely recommend this place if you had any other waiter.

Very nice place. Food was quick and presentation was great. Only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is that there is no tuna on the menu. I understand that it’s very difficult to source fresh tuna in Hawarden, Iowa…but if you serve sushi, you have to have tuna.

I was disappointed. They do not know how to make sushi. The rice was horrible. Sticky and overcooked. I ordered a salmon avocado roll. If I had known the salmon would be smoked I wouldn’t have ordered this rolI. It did not taste good. Ceviche didn’t taste good. Instead of spending so much time on how beautiful this restaurant is and the drinks, you should take sushi off your menu. Focus on everything else.
