Pilchuck Drive-In is one of our favorite burger spots! The burgers are delicious, the fries are crispy (and the ranch is one of my favorites!), and the milkshakes are amazing. It has that perfect old-fashioned vibe and everything tastes homemade and fresh. Highly recommend!

I don’t do chain burgers so any local spot that locals love is always worth a try and this one surprised me!! I’m a Zeke’s fanatic so you gotta come with it and this one DOES!!! Everything was on point and super cool and tasty!!! Cute retro inside, true drive through outside. It’s small and located on a corner so parking is limited and drive thru can back up to the street and you have to wait a bit but you won’t be disappointed!! No overcooked burgers, onion rings yummy, decent selection of food….my only gripe is the cost of the condiments but it’s not that serious. I WILL BE BACK VEDDY VEDDY SOON!!!

Pilchuck is my favorite place! The best burgers, fries, breaded mushrooms, the best homade ranch, and shakes. I have been coming here all my life. If you had an issue with your order call the manager, they always make it right. If you haven’t been here. I highly recommend you try it.

Just had a terrible experience here. They got almost everything in our order wrong. Instead of expediting the correction we waited 20 minutes. Twice as long as it took to get the wrong order in the first place. There was no sense of urgency. No apology. Nobody to try and make the situation better. No manager taking care of us. After watching guest after guest get served in the time it took to make my one burger and two milkshakes. Very aggravating experience.

Have been wanting to try this place forever because it’s always super busy whenever we drive by. Finally had time to go through the drive thru and when we got home, found the burgers were bright pink/seriously undercooked.

Someone recommended I check this place out.
If you’re cruising for a bruising of flavor, roll on over to this place, where the malts are thicker than a plot twist in a soap opera and the burgers are so juicy, they’ll have you questioning the very existence of napkins.

Parking at this drive-in is like finding a unicorn in rush hour traffic. But don’t worry, once you land a spot, the food will have you thinking you’re sitting on a throne of taste.

The burgers here are beefier than a bodybuilder on a cheat day. Sink your teeth into the their house burger special! Each bite is a savory serenade that’ll leave you grappling for your seatbelt, lest you float away in a cloud of culinary bliss.

As for the fried mushrooms, they’re perfectly golden and the sidekick that every burger deserves!

And let’s not forget the malts, thick enough to double as a building material. Sip slowly or risk a brain freeze that’ll have you seeing stars brighter than a Hollywood premiere.

Service is phenomenal, with carhops who deliver your meal faster than a rumor spreads in a small town. They’re the real MVPs, keeping the nostalgia alive!

In conclusion, this local joint is the kind of place that serves nostalgia on a platter. So rev up your appetite and cruise on over; it’s a drive-in dream that’s worth every mile.

Hope that tickled your taste buds!

From the reviews, we decided to try this place. Over 45min wait to order”Get to the window” They send someone to all the cars behind me “5 Cars” they take their orders not mine. Once I am at the windows, I make my order and they ask me to go park. Every car that they took the order “5Cars” pick up their orders and left at the window while I have been sitting for another 30Min. Please note, some of those cars literally just showed up 10min prior to to taking the order. I’m writing this whilst waiting still for the food. I will add the food review with pics once I actually get it. Is it worth it? We will find out.
Update: Burger order was accurate, tasted good but not worth the wait. I suggest coming up with a better drive In model.

So mediocre, it makes me ashamed to be nostalgic. I would understand the long wait if the food was good.

Pilchuck Drive In was an enjoyable experience. The Fish and Chips meal was recommended and I now see why. Wonderful crispy batter, and tender moist on the inside. The onion rings were good too. The battered mushrooms were fair. The shakes are really good, and the staff were polite given the heavy volume of walk in and drive up customers. I would eat there again.

This hole-in-the-wall burger joint has stood the test of time for good reason, and I find myself gravitating to it nearly everytime I pass by on second street.

Do yourself a favor, and make sure you try the tartar sauce. For me, its a bacon cheeseburger with a side of onion rings and some tartar sauce, and that can turn even the worst kind of day right around.

There is a drive through window, but it is slow, as the burgers are high quality. I’d go in.
