The food was amazing and the service was great! We had some appetisers that came out quickly and were delicious. We tried the caprese di bufala and both types of bruschetta. For the main course, we had tagliatele bolognese and a pinsa rucola e prosciutto. It was mouth watering! We tried all three desserts and everything tastes great! So, if you’re looking for a nice Italian restaurant, this is the place to go to!

I absolutely love this restaurant!! I discovered this gem last year during my first visit to Prague, now back to the city I was looking forward to coming here again. It’s the nicest atmosphere in town, by the canal… very quiet, surrounded by green. Food is excellent!! Friendly service! It’s a bit more expensive than average, but it’s worth for sure!

We were in Prague a few weeks ago and on our first night we went to Piknik Park for dinner! It was amazing, from start to finish, the waiter that was dealing with us was so happy to help, and the food was amazing! Now at this stage this would have been a 5 ⭐ review, unfortunately on our last night we decided to go again. Well I wish we didn’t. From the start we were basically made feel like we are a nuisance, the older gentleman (owner perhaps) was basically just rude. There was loads of waiting, food not arriving and they never even offered us any dessert. And mind you both time we came there for a 3 course dinner, plus a bottle of wine and multiple other drinks and we were just left so disappointed.
At the end of the night as my husband was paying, he almost had cheek to ask for a tip after all this. I have never felt more uncomfortable in a restaurant, and I definitely wish we didn’t go back because this could have been a great memory otherwise.

Very nice restaurant tucked away near a canal. The outside was very peaceful and had a very beautiful setting. Service was excellent and I went with the recommendation, which was excellent.

Had such a lovely dinner here last night. Very romantic and beautiful setting. Bruschetta was fresh and delicious. The pasta special with truffles was divine. Our server was great—gave me a very large wine pour for trying to speak Czech! Dekuju ☺️

We ordered grilled octopus, fungi pasta, seafood risotto and a lemon sorbet. The food was so good and the risotto was a huge pot but we managed to finish it all because it was that good! The homemade lemon sorbet was also perfect, not too sour. Our child also said the mushroom pasta was a 10/10.
We sat outside, the atmosphere was really peaceful and quiet with the sounds of the birds tweeting hahaha. We saw some reviews about needing to wait or whatever but we walked in and got a table without a wait. Its definitely worth it to come here

The food was decent, but nothing extraordinary—I’ve had better meals in Prague. The wine was unfortunately not drinkable, which was disappointing. Service was average, neither particularly attentive nor unfriendly. Overall, a passable experience, but I wouldn’t rush back.

Piknik Park is a bit of a hidden gem in Prague. At first, it’s easy to miss the little seating area tucked between a building and the canal. However, the subtle chatter of diners and the wonderful aromas from the kitchen soon reveal its presence. The entrance doesn’t immediately showcase the beautiful patio overlooking the canal.
We made reservations just a few hours before arriving and were fortunate to get a table with a great view. Many walk-ins without reservations were turned away or faced long waits. Though our food took a while due to the restaurant being busy, it was well worth it. The shrimp appetizer was delicious, and the pastas were tasty and served hot.
Our waiter was very helpful, recommending dishes and wines, and even offering to take photos for us. A small wedding with live music beside the restaurant added a special touch to the evening. Piknik Park is definitely worth visiting for dinner or just a drink to enjoy the surroundings. It was one of the most memorable dining spots on our visit to Prague.
