Pikante is a small and beautifully arranged restaurant that brings the rich flavors and warm energy of Peru to Lucerne. The food bursts with character; a true fusion of cultures that surprises in the best way. Cocktails are well-balanced and crafted with care, perfectly complementing the meal.
The team was welcoming and present. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, just right for a relaxed evening out.

This small restaurant in Lucern truly impressed me. The dishes were beautifully presented on the plate and tasted absolutely phenomenal. The staff was incredibly friendly and it was a pleasure speaking with them in several different languages. A cozy spot with great food and excellent service – I’ll definitely be coming back.

A fantastic Peruvian dining experience in Luzern! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Pikante – the fusion Makis were a delightful surprise, the ceviche was bursting with flavor, and the fish was incredibly fresh. Every dish was beautifully presented, showcasing both creativity and attention to detail. The only drawback is that it’s on the pricey side, but given the quality of the food and the overall experience, it’s absolutely worth it. A must-visit for lovers of Peruvian cuisine!

A hidden gem just a couple steps away from Luzern’s Old Town. Located on the ground floor of the Hotel Rothaus it offer a cozy atmosphere with just a handful of tables. It also has a nice small terrace. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, even tough we didnt make a reservation we were given a nice table. On weekends a reservation is recomended.
Piso sour is a must and it doesnt dissapoint. The Ceviche was spectacular and truly authentic. Everyhing we ordered came beautifully plated and all dishes were explained by our competent server.
The only thing i would dare to criticize is the fact that there is only one restroom which is also mixed, yet very clean.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone craving high quality peruvian flavours or those who wish go try one of the worlds most renowned cuisine.

This is a hidden gem in Lucerne. My partner and I tried peruvian food here for the first time and we left more than satisifed. High quality food, attentive staff and a cozy ambience. The food was presented in a very elegant way – it was more than a casual dinner, it was a whole experience. We started with their Maki Sushi Acevichado and it was just delicious. The fried calamari on top served with the sauce had such a unique and vibrant taste. As the main course we had the Pescado y Marisco a lo Macho, 10/10. It offers a variety of different sea food and fish served with rice. Everything tasted so good and fresh. Each plate was put together with a lot of detail. As desert we had the Chef’s selection, which was a pear cooked in red wine filled with Pistachio and Mascarpone. You tasted the red wine pretty good but we liked it a lot, we just wished there was a bit more of the filling inside. For the starters and the main courses (two of each), one dessert, two glasses of wine and a bottle of still water we spent 180 CHF. The prices were very fair for the portions you receive.

My entire family loved this place and me as well.
The entire menu was something new for us even though we have gone to a few Peruvian restaurants.
But the ceviche was a delight and the Causa…. Man oh man… the Causa was delicious .
I highly recommend that Causa, it was tasty and different in many different ways but it still captured the flavor of Peruvian cuisine.
If you ever find yourself in Lucerne and not sure what to eat please go here and I promise you, you won’t regret it.

I booked a table for 8, with more than 2 weeks in advance, when we arrived the host told me that I changed the reservation for 6 in a super rude way, I showed her my email and she insisted that I changed the reservation. Then I checked my inbox and they have send me an email 20 min before that my reservation was changed. That have never happened to me and with that rude attitude from the host. After a while she recognized and they placed an extra table. At the end the food was really tasty, as Peruvian food is. The ceviche and the dessert were my favorites. Some options are way overpriced.

We adore Pikante for its incredible food and the exceptionally friendly staff. During our visit, not only did the chef come out to greet us at our table, but he also passionately discussed the dishes and their Peruvian ingredients. We love the lomo saltado, ceviche and Causa. Our favorite drink is the classic Pisco Sour. We’re definitely planning to return again soon.

Don’t hesitate, just come eat here. I was greeted with warmth and hospitality from the moment I walked through the door. I usually go for the hole in the wall Peruvian places but now this restaurant has opened my eyes to the highest quality you can get in Peruvian cuisine. The ingredients are of top quality! I ordered the fish ceviche, which is a must. The fresh fish and spicy rocoto salsa to add to make it spicier made it so satisfying. Next, I ordered the sellerie and potato dish. I wanted to try something original and different. The potatoes are from Peru grown at 3500 m. The Huancaina salsa I ordered on the side was made with perfection. Then came the chefs surprise dessert and they brought me a special pisco liquor. I left so satisfied and full. Don’t forget my wonderful server and the manager. I feel horrible I forgot their names but he’s from Madrid and in fact, Peruvians are in the kitchen and it’s obvious in the taste of each dish. I will be back to try more dishes!
