I always love an excuse to try bbq. Piggin’ N’ Grinnin’, your name caught my attention! Lovely spot located in Saint Joseph, MI. When I opened my to-go tray, all that smoke smell took over my vehicle. I got the large tip and side. I love the smoke rings, the sauce on the side, and the lovely Mac and Cheese side. Mike’s service was very encouraging, and I love how he took me through the menu. I appreciate the love that was put into the food, and I see myself enjoying these ribs down the road. All in all, delicious bbq!

Really great food. Finally smoked meats that aren’t all dried out. The wings are so very good. We sampled a lot of their menu and it’s all good. We ate at the food truck parked at Municipal Brew Works. Great beer with great food.

Charlie’s was my first job as a kid, serving sides. I moved away for 10 years and tried barbecue all over the world, including multiple places in Texas. Their brisket remains the best I’ve ever had.

Update: I’ve been here three times now. The first two times I had either a pulled pork or brisket sandwich and they were great. One time I had the corn casserole and it was good. But the third time I went, the owner wasn’t there, and I got a pulled pork sandwich. The meat was still good, but they only put about half of what I had before, seemed like more bread than meat. Also the corn casserole was dry and crumbly, I threw most of that away. Very disappointing that third time. So hopefully if you go the right people are there.

Meat was burnt,dry and hard, the mac and cheese and Cole slaw needed more flavor, the peach cobbler was phenomenal though!
The service was good, we sat outside on the picnic table which was nice but the prices were heavy! 2 kids and 1 adult and the meals equalled almost 60$!!! That’s a little too much and the portions are small for the price too! They were also out of alot of things on the menu, including corn bread which we really want to try! 3 out of 5 recommend.

I decided to try this little BBQ place and I’M SO GLAD I DID! I ordered a pulled pork sandwich, brisket slider, Mac and cheese (get a big size and thank me later), and a chicken slider. Everything was tender and delicious!! However, my favorite was the brisket and the Mac and cheese. The BBQ sauce was delicious as well. I already can’t wait to go back and get more! I’m so glad I made the stop and you will be too!! *Didn’t take a picture because the food was ate the second it was pulled out of the bag

You can tell the meat wasn’t smoked properly. Was not tender at all, all chewy and tough. Only reason I give 2 stars is because the kid working the window was very friendly, and the barbecue sauce tasted pretty good. Spent $70, won’t go back. Dissssssssapointment

the ribs were not cooked long enough and hard to get off the bone. who ever added the spices to the ribs put so much salt they are not edible! we ordered a full rack and we each ate one rib – actually I could only stomach eating half of the rib. my husband and I both agreed they are garbage and we will never go back! The service was excellent and the owners very kind but the food was all terrible! We ordered the ribs, pulled pork and 1/4 chicken. Chicken was smoked and dry and not a lot of meat on the sandwich. Also had the coleslaw that for some reason is bright yellow and was also tossed in the garbage
