My BFF and I go on “adventure days”. We head out with no destination in mind. Today we ended up at Pig & Pie. It just popped up on us and we made a split second decision to stop. So glad we did! We split a steak & cheese, and it was honestly one of the best steak & cheese I’ve ever had. The bread was fresh with just a bit of crunch. The meat was perfectly cooked and generous portions. We just had mayo and cheese on ours. I went a bit out of the box and put some of their Carolina vinegar sauce on it, and I loved the extra bit of flavor. We each grabbed a cookie, then sat outside to eat (there is just one table inside, more seating outside). The owner was super friendly and chatted with us while we waited. Quite a few people stopped in while we were there. This place may sneak up on you, but its obviously a well known spot for the locals. I’ll be taking a road trip out that way again so my husband can try it!

I have officially met the Queen and King of pizza! Place our first order at Pig & Pie this past weekend. While we did not get a pie, we got pizza and BBQ sandwiches. The flavor was amazing, and the cheese pull from the bite of pizza was like a jump rope. Yum, yum, YUM! That was all I heard from my kiddos. Will continue to visit the Pig & Pie for more pizza and BBQ for many years to come. Enjoy!

Best bang for your buck for pizza at the River! The pizza was fantastic and had generous toppings. Order early as the wait can get long but worth it. Our pizza could have been cooked another minute to make it a little crispier of a crust but the flavor was great and tasted like fresh ingredients. Definitely will be our place to get pizza from here on out. (Photo is 2 slices of the 18 inch pie. Pepperoni & sausage was about $25 and it is a huge pie)

Limited seating inside. Pizza was fresh and delicious. Bbq was tender and tasty. Coleslaw was crispy and delicious. Fresh made food for a good price. I had the lunch special with a Yoo-hoo.

Easily some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. We had the white pizza with garlic sauce and shrimp, and it was unbelievable! Soooo delicious and the crust was the perfect combo of crispy and chewy, exactly the way I like it! This place is a gem!

The slow cooked 18hr. Smoked BBQ is really good. Great owner operator location. Pick up some sandwiches to go or buy a pound to take Home. The pizza looks really great as well, different varieties available by the slice or a whole pie.

This business is unreliable. We drove 45 minutes to meet up with friends that live an hour away, since Pig & Pie is almost in the middle. We checked the hours of operation in advance to make sure we could eat here. Both the website and the hours posted on the front door said it was open, but it wasn’t. A local who also pulled up and noticed it was closed said that the place opens whenever it feels like it. Two car loads of people drove all that way for nothing, so we won’t be going back.
