First of all I should say, I’ve been all over for bbq and let me tell you. This is faboulous. Best BBQ I’ve had in Indiana in 18 years having lived here. One of the best I’ve had anywhere. The meats were all juicy, fresh, and hot. Not only that, but the Mac, collard greens, and cowboy beans were really great, one of the best Mac and cheese I’ve had. The true stars of the show was the sweet bbq (incredible they should sell it), and Jay. Jay was very attentive, friendly, and had excellent recommendations both for me and my family. I now live in Chicago but whenever I go through back to Evansville I will stop here 100%♥️

Staff was very nice and the food was very good. Great potato salad, collard greens, and pulled pork. Large portions and a very filling meal. I’ve eaten good bbq all over the country and I’m not sure what some of these other reviews are talking about.

There are a lot of choices at The Garage. The baby back ribs plate really good. Honestly, I ordered expecting to be disappointed. But the rib’s flavoring is so tasty and Cajun sauce is not too sweet and the a medium spice. Just what I was hoping for- solid bbq flavor. The collard greens, potato salad, and corn bread were really good too. If you have not been to The Garage, I recommend you start here.

I had the Brats , mac and cheese, coleslaw, and cornbread. The brats were lukewarm with a chewy outer skin that was tough . The coleslaw is very fine shredded, dry and bland . The Mac and cheese also bland but eatable. $16.00 dollar meal that I ended up throwing most of in the trash . The cornbread was the best part of the meal.

To be fair, my review is only based on the “small” lunch I had because I still needed to finish my run
But that being said, I was surprised by how much food I got for their $10 lunch special which included 1 meat (you can decide to make it a sandwich if you want) & 1 side with sauce, coleslaw, and pickles
The chicken was tender, juicy, and went well with the Carolina gold sauce. The mac n cheese was a huge portion but the flavor was just okay for me.
All in all, this is a good lunch option if you’re trying to decide on one of the many food stalls available.

1st time at the garage. My husband was eager to try a good brisket. While he loved the meat, it was somewhat pricey, and the sides were not good at all. The coleslaw was finely shredded and lacking in flavor. The mac and cheese was so bland that we wondered if it even had cheese. The cornbread was super cold, as in recently thawed or taken out of the fridge. The person who took the order was just there, not a huge personality. However, considerate enough to not serve the meat until he saw my husband pick up the order.
It’s not a place we will reorder from, but good brisket nonetheless. But $23 for what should be $15 is not acceptable.

Don’t skip the sides at Pig Pen BBQ inside Garage Food Hall—especially the mac and cheese. Honestly, it might be the best I’ve ever had (sorry, Aunt Tammy). We loved it so much that we went back for two more orders. Easily a 5/5. We’ll definitely be back!

Grabbed some dinner from Pig Pen BBQ, located inside The Garage Food Hall. I really liked the employees there…they were super nice and friendly!! I got the pulled pork dinner with 2 sides. The meat was tender, could have used a little more BBQ sauce…they only give you a small container. The cornbread was super delicious…but cold!!!! Please warm up your bread before giving it to a customer!! The macaroni was decent, not my favorite, only because it had something mixed in with it…not even sure what it was. The potato wedges were awesome! Loved the amount of salt on them…perfect…only complaint on these is that they were kinda overcooked a tad! Lastly, please serve fountain drinks…I despise having to get cans of pop at a food place! Overall, I would choose to eat here again!
